Run away from all turbo charged engines, the turbo stresses the engine, more complex design and parts, naturally aspirated engines are way simpler, a mechanic can come out victorious after sessions of 'trial and error' with non turbo engines, less so with turbocharged ones, turbo is never cheap, even if the brand is innoson.
There are other strong, rugged cars made by BMW, inline 6s and even 8 cylinders that will send other commuters to the sidewalk when you rev up 😂.
Look at me here doing gra gra with my 249hp V6 sonata, I rev up and it is music to my ears, higher adrenaline levels with fellow road users and those walking by 😟, good luck making a good choice, bmws are great, just avoid the turbos, step on it where the road is free, no careless okada riders, young school kids, and crazy taxi drivers.
My recommendation, E90 328i 2013 will keep you happy, a good unit of course.

If you like to “step on it”, bmw is the car for you. There is a reason they call it the drivers car. If you are new to it, I will advice you to stay away from the turbos and stick to the NA engines. Bless up!
