As for ruggedness; a friend drives same vehicle full-time on Uber/taxify and he drives himself for over a year now, just regular maintenance issues one would expect from overworking a car on E-hailing ie suspension, AC, tires etc.
Final verdict all things being equal(competent kazeem mechanic and original parts) i think it is reliable car for e-hailing

I will be starting uber and taxify soon, i believe most of the comments here has prepared me (55%) to hit the road, i intend to drive the car myself on scheduled timing because i have other businesses. I will discus more with you when i come to see you personally to get the remaining 45% tutorial and trust me i wont come empty handed because the gods of uber/taxify must be appeased (even if name bottles of non alcoholic wines).... Transport vehicles don't have good resale values, they were used for commercial purpose, they were used extensively buyers don't buy them well...

I can't buy a corolla 2003/2004/2005 that has been used for two years on uber a taxify for more than 800k,but I can buy a privately used Toyota corolla for 1.3m. Why will I bother myself on resale value when am gonna make my returns in less than a year, after two years I can give out the car...
