Yes, it is true that these Npower beneficiaries were told that the program was to last for two years.But at eve of 2019 general election, the terms of agreement was changed to permanence if PMB is return as President.I know some of my friends who got job with Fire Service after paying the sum of #800,000.00k(eight hundred thousand naira) during the last recruitment.I could not get the job after doing very well in the aptitude text because I could not afford to pay to get the job.This Npower is the only recruitment of graduates in this country without knowing any person or pay to get recruited into the program.Most of these Npower beneficiaries work in their PPAs even when their stipends are not paid as at when due because they were hoping for permanence. The money I managed to save from the program is what I used to complete my masters degree.so,these Npower beneficiaries including my humble self have every right to protest.These is no place in the world where peaceful protest is a crime.Even the Bible and the Quran states clearly that any one in grief,should be allowed to grief peaceful and that is exactly what these Npower beneficiaries are doing at the moment.
