sulaimania2003: How is election conducted in your life ? Is there any other way that election can be conducted than the one you know ? More than 90% of Npower beneficiaries voted for Buhari because they were convinced by the special adviser to the president through a virtual meeting that they will be granted permanency if Buhari is re-elected. Now deduct #500,000 votes from his electoral victory. Some went ahead to convince non beneficiaries because of their future. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Yes, it is true that these Npower beneficiaries were told that the program was to last for two years. But at eve of 2019 general election, the terms of agreement was changed to permanence if PMB is return as President.I know some of my friends who got job with Fire Service after paying the sum of #800,000.00k(eight hundred thousand naira) during the last recruitment.I could not get the job after doing very well in the aptitude text because I could not afford to pay to get the job. This Npower is the only recruitment of graduates in this country without knowing any person or pay to get recruited into the program. Most of these Npower beneficiaries work in their PPAs even when their stipends are not paid as at when due because they were hoping for permanence. The money I managed to save from the program is what I used to complete my masters degree.so,these Npower beneficiaries including my humble self have every right to protest. These is no place in the world where peaceful protest is a crime.Even the Bible and the Quran states clearly that any one in grief, should be allowed to grief peacefully and that is exactly what these Npower beneficiaries are doing at the moment. 10 Likes 1 Share |

Don't mind them. Everyone keeps deceiving themselves by believing Nigeria has money. He is talking about Senators' salary, let him go and drag it from them now. Nigeria is a poor country, made even worse by the pilferage. It's in no way a rich country. Poorboy: |

MARSHALDEMSA202: I quite Understand your Point of View on this Matter. But as far those youths are out there, they are not saying that Fresh Entrants into the Program should be disallowed. They are only trying to tell the Federal Government to do the Right Thing at the Right Time. It seems you don't know what this Country is Worth. Just take a look at our Budgetary Allocations from 2014 till date. You will understand that we designed our sufferings in this Country. Don't forget the Price of Oil during PDPs Regime and the APC's. Kindly ponder over the below information. The Highest Budget ever proposed by the Federal Government during the Oil Boom Period was not up-to ₦5Trillion Naira Remember the regime was characterized by Massive Looting and Money Squandering. Seems to have no much difference with this regime anyways except for Youth Empowerment Programs and Boost in Agriculture and Several Loan Schemes. My own Little understanding of the Nigerian Budget is that no matter it's amount, it is always massively looted by the same set of people. Here's our Yearly Budget Allocations from Jonathan's Regime through MBuhari's Regime. 2014 Budget https://www.premiumtimesng.com/business/161390-jonathan-signs-nigerias-2014-budget-defence-gets-20-per-cent.html 2015 Budget ₦4.5Trillion Fast Forward to Mr Buhari 2017 Budget ₦7.298 Trillion 2019 Budget ₦8.83 Trillion 2020 Budget ₦10.27 Trillion from ₦10.59 Trillion Envisaged 2021 Budget https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/404388-nigerias-2021-budget-of-n12-6trn-to-be-financed-by-n4-3-trillion-loan-others.html For me, if I were to be the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I would rather Create a Full Blown Ministry for Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship. From A - Z of that Ministry would be of the Youth, From the Youth and for the Youth with ₦3Trillion Naira Economy for Interest Free Loan were NYSC, Post NYSC and N-Power Beneficiaries' records are gotten from a highly secured website linked to NYSC for NYSC Certificate Verification, N-Power Identity Verification, NIMC and BVN Verification for easy Identity Management. Six (6) Months Compulsory Practical Trainings are conducted for you on your chosen entrepreneurship enterprise while funds are disbursed immediately training is completed with Two Years repayment tenor with attached Mentors to guide and serve as Role Models. I would take these steps because irrespective of the amount Proposed in the Budget, it seems not to have a Good or Better Impact on the Youths and the Remote Poor but it's Always a Provision for same set of people to continue to loot our resources since they have perfected a way to recycle themselves in Office. Why Constantly Increase Budgetary Allocations by Almost ₦2Trillion Naira while your youths are jobless? So the Best way out of this Cancerworm is to Create a Separate Economy for the Youth away from the Looters Lane. 1 Like |
