Sports Interactive, the developer of Football Manager, has canceled the release of Football Manager 25 (FM25) due to the game not meeting their quality standards. Despite efforts to delay the release and improve the game, the team realized they couldn't achieve the desired level of quality.This thread will now be updated to anticipate and welcome Football manager 2026

Here are just a few of the issues: - No email notifications when you're tagged in a post  You're still in the dark unless you manually log in.- The design and overall look are straight out of the Stone Age.  - Nl should already have a fully functioning, Feature-filled Mobile app - Moderators seem more interested in doing the bare minimum, making it feel like they're phoning it in. - Challenges and competitions? A thing of the past. - The front page has devolved into a dumping ground for fake, outdated, and just plain boring news. Remember when you had to bring your A-game to get featured? Time for a Revamp Here are some solutions to get our forum back on track: - Introduce verification badges for members to ensure authenticity. - Hire a full-time, verified news caster to deliver reliable news. - Reserve the front page for only the most important and relevant topics. - Bring back challenges and competitions to reignite Nl community spark. When Will FM26 Be Released? Sports Interactive hasn’t given us a firm launch date yet, but history gives us a good idea of when to expect it. Football Manager has traditionally dropped in the autumn window, with early access usually going live in mid-to-late October and the full release following in early November. That pattern looks set to continue with FM26. Here’s what we know so far: Early Access (Beta): Expected around mid-October 2025, available to those who pre-order. This gives fans a chance to start their saves a couple of weeks early, while also helping Sports Interactive iron out last-minute bugs. Full Release: Most sources point to early-to-mid November 2025 as the likely launch window. FM Blog suggests mid-to-late November, while FMScout leans toward early November. Either way, it’s safe to say the game will be in players’ hands before the year is out. |
