The President has a right to issue an executive order setting aside portions of the PIA for the good of the citizens. Having these funds paid directly to the government coffers is the right and transparent thing to do. Let the NNPC concentrate on its mandate - which is opurely regulatory and not revenue collection agency.

I knew something was amiss with the Executive Order signed by the President. The PIA was a well planned document that took the National Assembly years to develop and passed into law, now the President bypassed it with an Executive Order.
The President could have sent a bill to the NA repealing the Law establishing the PIA.

The man El-Rufai admitted he and others listened to the telephone conversations of the NSA after tapping his phone, an act that has drawn widespread criticism from various quarters, including the presidency.

And Amaechi now becomes the spokesman saying his principal did not have the capacity to do so.

El-Rufai is not a closet terrorist, but he is openly a terrorist and an unrepentant murderer. He murdered Christians while serving as governor, can such a person be the President.
