These remnants of the lost cause in their country will be used as guinea pigs in a foreign land fighting a war that is neither theirs nor their ancestor
Shehu Sani's post shares a photo of six Nigerian men in Russian military gear, likely in Ukraine, credited to "Mr Obiorah," spotlighting how economic desperation drives Nigerians to join foreign armies for better pay and opportunities. https://x.com/ShehuSani/status/1978541529821024686?t=ItwIXcQYCsaFXiJae9Xf9A&s=19
|
Isn't that saying a lot about lack of integrity within the politicians, if they can easily be bribed. All the politicians, with the exemption of very few are dishonorable and can sell their mother for a cup of tea, whether they belong to PDP, APC, LP, ADC (Association of Disgruntled Coalition) are one and the same. I believe this Amnesty or whatever they call themselves is very partial and have lost touch with the tenets of the founding fathers. The clemency program is not peculiar to Nigeria. American Presidents perform this same clemency program every year and it is at the prerogative of the President. You will become relevant (I once was a fee/due paying member for many years) again once you remove the partiality cover. The organization has become a shadow of itself in Nigera and current leadership not trusted nor have credibility. Antoeni: |
If that's your reason or excuse and as lame as it is, does he have anything to do with FESTAC? givedemwotowoto: |
I think you are dreaming of this man all the time, even when you cannot perform in the other room, you still blame the President. givedemwotowoto: |
Mr. Oyebolu, as a forensic expert you called yourself, you now need to proof that you are not a roadside forensic expert by answering this simple question. Is there any law (both in Nigeria and the USA) that forbade person's wife and children from owning property anywhere (both in Nigeria, in the USA and anywhere else for that matter)? Now if there is no law, then what is there for EFCC, ICPC and armchair critics and experts investigating other than playing to the gallery. ogugwa1992: |
Oga Professor Obi, when your state government did massive demolition in your area, you didn't teach or speak about law, justice and compassion. Now that it happens in Lagos, you now remember to put your third-class degree to work. All we know is that a new Nigeria is imPOssible with PO
https://x.com/PeterObi/status/1975435514451792164?t=HWJavRbNKwnW0IM_TNoXaQ&s=19
|
Oga, that’s not what I asked you. Please read it Alina and respond since you have chosen yourself as the PDP spokesperson anonimi: |
Sponsored nonentity that sees no evil, speak no evil and are themselves evil. Compared FCT with your state, is FCT not safer than your state? ogugwa1992: |
HOW SOON SOME PEOPLE FORGET THEIR OPPRESSORS AND TASK MASTERS. WHAT DID PDP DO FOR 16-years. quote author=anonimi post=137022079] If key elements of the coalition are PDP leaders who gave us 16 years of deregulation and privatisation prosperity, then why ask for what they have to offer again? If you don’t have personal hatred for our collective wellbeing then why would you want us to continue enduring APC extreme poverty shege that was fraudulently sold as change a decade ago ![]() The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Chief Olawale Edun has said the last time Nigeria’s economy looked stable was about a decade ago. He made this statement during his maiden press conference as Minister of Finance where he outlined President Bola Tinubu’s vision, agenda and strategy for the economy. He said, “I think as we all know, we are not where we should be. The economy is barely growing above the rate of population growth. “But it was not always so, and I think in trying to look at the way forward, if we now have a situation of slow growth, double-digit inflation, weak/depreciating exchange rate, as well as security concerns that are resulting in an economy that is not growing and not taking Nigerians out of poverty. “If we think back to the last time when the economy was stable- when it was growing, when inflation was low, and the interest rate was affordable, that period was about a decade ago. Growth was about 6% in 2013 and 2014.” Private sector to drive the economy https://nairametrics.com/2023/09/01/the-last-time-nigerias-economy-was-stable-was-about-a-decade-ago-wale-edun/
|
Listen to your heart Pastor and ask the Association of Disgruntled/Disenfranchised Coalition (ADC) what do they have to offer and what they have in common which is personal hatred for Tinubu because he refused to dance to their individual and collective tunes. Bobloco: |
Oga Atiku, the mouthpiece of insecurity, why don’t you go to the insecure areas and be making a live broadcast. That will make you more believable instead of issuing unsubstantiated statements from your Dubai safe haven. treesun: |
You can express yourself all you want, after all every Dog, Utomi, Seyi are all entitled to yawn and run their mouth as long as they don’t step on another person’s right of freedom of speech. But then who cares about a nonentity roadside economist that predicts a dollar will exchange for 10,000-Naira. Ofunaofu: |
And that is one black man's opinion and every James, Helen, Sowore and a dog is entitled to his/her own opinion. But guess what, that opinion doesn't worth a dustbin. truthera: |
Sowore and his alleged roadside forensic lawyer are on a wild goose chase that leads to where and just playing to the gallery of rumor mongers. Good luck. nairavsdollars: |
An educated Illiterate armchair economist seeking for attention. fergie001: |
These people have a concocted wild imagination. Sowore is a nonentity, hence no one - person or government is after him. Or maybe his village people is after him, so instead of hosting online meeting of roadside professors/academicians that want to profess, they should go in person to Sowore’s village to inquire. quote author=Racoon post=136935489]"Why Are They After Omoyele Sowore?" Good for you that "this you have seen" but have you seen yourself in the mirror? If you have, please tell us what you saw. Karlovich: |
I have a palm plantation with a milling factory. Currently have fifty (50) kegs for sale. |
A complete waste of time and an emotional blackmail of the Wikes. The petition is dead on arrival and if not because this is a roadside lawyer, the petition would not have been filed. Ignorance of law and of U.S fundamental human rights is propelling this unnecessary petition. See how ignorant people take Panadol for someone's headache. SamGift0817: |
Oga helinues, it is not Nigerians that they need to ban, it is the people that are known to us that needs to be banned. helinues: |
Unfortunately, all these are emotional blackmail of the Wikes. I have properties in Florida, and it is not against the law to own properties in Florida. Disclosure of how the purchase was made, which bank, etc. are personal information that cannot be divulged (You can petition all the way to the Supreme Court). Everything you want to see is in public by searching the County's property appraisal office which is where Sowore got his information. You can search any name in the property appraisal's website, and it will show what property the person owned, location, deed information, the year purchased, from whom, etc, all these are public information. Having a so-called forensics expert is nothing but playing to the gallery of gullible set of people on a witch hunt. For all I care, the so-called expert might be a road-side mechanic. May they find what is not lost but they are looking for. Morbeta11: |
"The state still bore the responsibility of providing those essentials. That is why it is shocking that, in our present circumstances, while billions are easily found for jets, yachts, unused mansions, endless trips abroad, and other frivolities, the nation must rely on birthday donations to complete its own National Library" While Obi's comment seems appropriate on the surface, I believe he should direct that question to previous administrations from both PDP and APC as to why the library was not paid a deserved attention to, Therefore, it is commendable that Mrs. Tinubu saw the need for completing the library and hence she made it a personal project, and she should be appreciated for it and not condemned for it, but then as anything else, you will have some that will wail and some that will applaud the news. It’s obvious that to some the glass is half full while to others it is half empty. It is your choice and your mindset that determines whether you wail or rejoice at any news quote author=Ofunaofu post=136859453]Compare the naira value of the so-called largest-ever FAAC allocation today to what it was before Tinubu 'grabbed it, snatched it, and ran away with it,' and you will realize the enormous and monumental damage Tinubu has done to the economy of this nation.
|
It is interesting that this will appear in a national daily newspaper. No names were mentioned of those claiming to be CPC, obviously written by a roadside uncredentialled paid ghost writer and yet it find its way into vanguard news. The newspaper has become worthless not worth a toilet paper. iwaeda: |
See the group of nay-sayers and the voice of nay-sayers - the Tribune. These set of people will never see anything good and to them the cup is always half-empty. Maxymilliano: |
When you become President, you can appoint and employ your enemy to any position of your choice. GadoosGadoo: |
Who does Chieftaincy title helped. Please strip and double strip. The traditional council is no longer traditional but political witch hunt. Maxymilliano: |
Why not give citizens one year to register and obtain the Tax Identification Number. Why the pajawiri all of a sudden. Why not provide an online porter to register and obtain the TIN. You want millions to register and yet registration has not been open and you have barely 3-months before it goes into effect. Lack of planning which creates panic and shock. nlfpmod: |
This your comment shows lack of comprehension skill. This man simply states his observation without implying any preference but rather stating the obvious intricacies of the different wedding and inferring from it, what constitutes Nigeria and Nigerians. You don't have to be on internet to know about these two wedding events. EponObi: |
