What made me to comment and come out of my shelve was this comment u made, am an ibo boy butni was born, and brought up n makurdi, did my primary, sec, uni..virtuallly spent have of my life so far in makurdi only changed location when i was posted for my Nysc after which am in another state now working, tho i have been to maktown this year, once in a while i do go due to the fact we still got a huz there, my elder bro is based there, married, he even marride an idoma lady, same with my sista she too married there so u can see how deep rooted my family is in benue state even tho virtually all of my siblings have relocated to different states after thier Nysc, we lived in the high level area all through my life there in maktown notwithstanding I know all areas in m akurdi wella from wurukum to wadata to north bank, Ankpa, modern market, naka cashio, gyado villa, brewery, judges quarters, kwararafa quarters etc I can keep naming them.

Indeed like u and the other maktown guy has said in this thread, makurdi Is a beheave of cultish, that state is something else, cultism has so much eaten deep into the lives of youth in that state and only God can savage the situation, it's pathetic, we in my family to the last of us were fully aware aware of the foolishness and eternal stupidity in joining cult rite from when we were small, maybe it was due to the strong Christian upbringing, aside that, all the cult wars, deaths going on around town and in our neighbourhood from time to time doesn't one to advise a sensible person or human being that joining cult is the most foolish, futile, and miserable mistake one will make in life.
