A situation where it's purely waterlogged, soil test is advisable to know the soil bearing capacity to know which foundation type is best. Raft too has type, I know many don't know cellular raft then pile is into two types. Soil test is best. Doubling of wall and filling with concrete is only advisable to step down cost of raft only on hard soil where there is need like having 5coaches up to 11coaches before German, if not too high you can adopt strap foundation, don't get me wrong. NOTE: Engaging professional Engr(s) is always advisable

Hum2020:Yh! Pls don't get me wrong sir, I said what I said per what we are facing in Nigeria. Anyone who has the money to handle such construction can buy it honestly. I personally buy the idea of buying such lands only if one has the fund. Such avenue makes one think deep and more creative, brings unspeakable concept when being actualized only by good hands and imagine if it's sth for tourist centre it will be fucking making sense. We are 95% done with the filling, we working on areas where special attention are needed per the height by doubling the wall and filling up to avoid any form of crack later as we proceed.
