Well done. It's never easy working in a new environment for the first time.

Just to get some perspective with the basement; I can't see any tanking of the basement from the photos or even German floor. So what's the solution against possibly rising damp of the basement walls?

Basement if not properly tanked, can suffer penetrating damp issues from the external soil especially during rainy season.

Would there be natural light from a side window? If not, please share the plan for air circulation in the basement.

Wishing you good speed.
Appreciates your observations and contributions.
As being said earlier,no plan for the basement cos it was never part of the plan from scratch, basement was introduced lately cos the client didn't believe we can have this height.
For the damp rising issue, we have DPM to stop damp rising from below and from above both for the German and the decked area.
For the ventilation of the basement, it's well ventilated as being restructured by me after the client gave the order.
For the room, we have 4 windows cross ventilated, the lounge has one window of 1500mm width per the arrangement gained then the toilet is ventilated, kitchen and we have an exit for the basement as well.
All well considered.
Thanks for your contributions again.

The master bedroom is 5.1m by 5.9m. Attaching another room to it will reduce the master bedroom size.
And this while I told l him to await your response.

I can't quite tell what's the dimension of the Master bedroom.......
But can you attach another room to it still accessible via the Master?
I think you think of the the external dimensions sir.
Let him reply so you can understand better but better still it's cool to know the dimension for the master bedroom before you conclude in adding one room more.

Current stage of the filling, the more we fill as if this won't end and this is just the best way out in attaining and achieving this Design for the low part that can't be used for basement.

If the area is sandy or waterlogged, you definitely need a raft foundation. It is not about the size, but the structure.

It is necessary for the foundation of the building to be strong, and stand the test of time. It also prevents underground water from seeping into the building, and destroying it
Definitely you got me wrong.
You need a good engineer to tell you which foundation is best not just eye take, some soil are sandy without water,i mean loose soil u can't use any foundation type but the one an engineers tells you is best for that particular soil.

Kindly get me right

strictly on dry land. For waterlogged areas or land it would cost more due to cost of pile and raft.
But I don't see any good reason why someone will build a small bungalow on such plot in a need of Raft or Pile foundation.
Well done.

No need to argue bro, I just expressed my view on seeing the amount budgeted for a bungalow with penthouse to carcass level. I never said I have full details of the building as per 3D and the rest you are asking for but I called and got the sqm of the building as 455sqm. Also you can’t compare cost of building in ado ekiti to PHC. Have a good day
Lol thanks.
455sqm? I think u mistook the plot Sqm for the building Sqm.
Nevertheless thanks.
