in addition to the post the above question, is it compulsory to have a personal profile and an objective written on the CV too? I have also seen some CVs with passport , when is that to be used? also, must a cover letter be attached to a CV ? if not, when do we need a cover letter?

good morning my bosses here, I'm a corp member and will finish service this may. As the month of may is drawing nearer, my fear is just growing bigger . my question is that does federal agencies gives aptitude tests for recruitment or is it only private companies that use aptitude tests ?

this thing is really delaying me sha....wanted Ogun to wakeup and start walking today, but skin weight would not allow.

@okx... I moved the hand and this happened. I know I'm to paint skin weight from here. I activated paint skin weight tool. the model was supposed to turn black n white but it didn't. in this screen grab, the paint skin weight tool is active. what do I do now

skin weight have refused to paint.I use my Paint Skin weights tool, the mesh does not go into a grey scale type shader. Instead, the textured model is still displayed instead of the black and doesn't display weight values in the greyscale I'm used to.

so, I didn't like it....the painting did not blend and d model appeared scary when I textured. so I painted of d teeth area too.


I finally worked with that since I don't need any detail on d face.

okx, u have really been of great help to me.
of course I know how to save d snapshot , import it into Photoshop and apply texture in Maya. the only confusing part is where u said I should take a photo of myself and fit it on d layout, then d flooding of one colour. I will need a pictorial help for that. thanks boss

@okx, NEPA in did my village r really slowing me down. I just snapped d UV now. so, what will b my next move.

chaiii... this 3d thing no b child's play b DAT o... I modelled the cloth . I don't even know what is called cloth simulation.
let's take it one by one. I will grab the UV layout of the head and from there, u will put me through.

then, while posing him, the cloth was not moving with d body which means that my xter will walk leaving his cloth, helmet and club behind. plleeeaase, how do I make everything move together like yours?

okx, I Dan come again with another challenge o. so, I av textured him and gave him one funny dark brown colour and now he looks like a wood. so I av changed his name to woody(toy story). I av also given him bones. then ,I tried posing him and this happen. so what do I now

ok. just redid the shield and the axe.
pulled a texture off the web as a base for the shield, and modeled around it.
combined a bunch of textures, plus did some painting to texture the axe.
for the uvs for both, i did a basic planar mapping from the front (z axis) and split the uvs at the sides and did a 3d unfold which laid out the uvs flat.

don't want the character to be too realistic, still want to preserve the game feel.

will proceed to proper rigging.
i would want the raffia on his legs to deform with his motion, and the armor to also react to his motion as he walks.
if this were a serious project, i would sculpt some muscles and rig them to help the skin deform more realistically as he flexes his muscles.
i may still do so if theres time.

there are lots more tutorials on youtube dealing on the subject.
watch as many as you can, then practice some more. thats the only way, if you dont lay out uvs then ur model texture wont be right.

seriously been having a harrrrrrddd time texturing my model o plus still enjoying d merriment of the season.
I'm still trying to lay out the uvs. that's d problem. its kind of complicated jare. I thout I will just paint and it will turn out sweet, but its not easy o
