I personally think the urge to get married and have children is largely an evolutionary instinct. Nature wired us to reproduce because that’s how our species survives. That doesn’t automatically make it the most rational or meaningful goal for every individual.

People should focus on living the life they genuinely want and enjoying the limited time they have. Travel, build something, learn, love, create memories, chase your passions, or simply find peace. Life doesn’t come with a universal checklist.

Many people obsess over “leaving a legacy,” carrying on the family name, or making sure their bloodline continues. But once you’re dead, none of that matters to you anymore. You won’t know whether your children had children, whether your name survived, or whether anyone remembers you a hundred years later.

The only part of life you’ll ever truly experience is the one you’re living right now. So instead of living for a future you’ll never witness, live a life that is meaningful to you while you’re here.
