The mfb is been regulated by CBN.

Well, if you are conversant with the recent trends in loan and microfinance operations, you will know that you can apply for loan virtually. I that just happened was to send image of few documents in this case, an oracle number and they have access to your details with the government (your employer).

No Physical form was filled.
All banks give loans now without filling forms.

That has been done and that was when Mr Collins came in and all he could do was say that he is sorry because Wunmi is one of his best hands and he is surprised that she could make such a terrible mistake. ( Or it's a trick they use to scam people)

That the only way out is that the person pay off the rest by liquidating the loan.

Nothing was done about the name disguise nothing was done to bring back the initial agreement reached before the person collected the loan.

To settle the loan also became a problem because they kept dragging the process just to ensure it enters another month

And your agreed terms was changed after about 3 months you collected the loan before you noticed


You should know that no deduction is always made the month of disbursement and maybe the first month of disbursement you wouldnt notice because payslip didn't arrive until after 3months for government workers.

Will you as a sensible person hold onto Loan for 3months without using it for the reason you collected it?

Do you still think that he is ungreatful, when you take loan from a microfinance bank you should be given the full details and they should stick to agreement, but no Lapo officials will keep twisting and dribbling you..

The complaint isn't about interest.
It isn't about who called who
It isn't about getting a loan or not because the last time I checked getting a loan isn't a crime and spending it for whatever venture you so please isn't one either

The crime here is using another name to disguise.
The crime is lying to people about low interest rates only to change the condition after loan has been disbursed...

I have noticed that LAPO has a lot of people influencing for them on this platform, but I can assure you all that evidence/facts don't lie.

If you guys are ready to find out the truth, do a follow up and stop defending with with words of mouth. There are numbers there, there addresses and people's names. What other fact are you demanding?

Don't be an accomplice to scam... Let's warn people to beware of LAPO, and it's dubious officials.

Ask a layman about LAPO and hear what they will say? LAPO already noticed the lack of credibility attached to its name that is why they are disguising under another name CITYGATE GLOBAL.

That is just the reason I am warning people to be careful and know that Lapo now has a new trick to get you entangled and it's not always easy to get out.

The loan in concern is settled. Though refund is still expected.

You really need to go back and read that post. The poster is my friend and a message was sent to him. The conditions he admitted to was changed by the officer saying she made a mistake, that she miscalculated.

THE ACCOMPLICE MR COLLINS CLAIMED TO BE THE MANAGER AT THE IRORUN PLAZA KUDIRAT ABIOLA WAY OREGUN BRANCH OF LAPO.

The interest rate isn't the problem here, but the trick of operating under another name. It's deception and not telling the people the actual condition before disbursing. Infact lieing about the rate just to make it attractive

You guys are missing the point. If Lapo is so sure of their credibility, why hide under another name?

Why not tell the condition at first, instead of changing it later after they must have tricked someone into collecting the loan by telling them lower interest rate.

For your information the loan has been settled but just warning people to be aware of the trick
