i understand, have someone who is ready to pay for tuition, all i have to do on my own is to get admission & he will take care of the rest.

Ur applying as an undergraduate . Most of the scholarship are labelled 'for first time freshmen only'
Ur having ND has disqualified u from freshmen scholarships.

But maybe u can write to the school if u can evaluate ur ND transcript.
Maybe then u ll be a transfer student.

For international student it list SAT scores for international Student (so it can be somewhat needed ) ....... Also one thing to note is that even though someone meets the minimum requirement does not guarantee that you will get it , so any additional thing that makes you more competitive helps your application.

By GPA I mean ur WAEC GPA. U can use www.foreign credits.com to get a rough aggregate.
Going for undergraduate at 28 ? Admission is no problem, but getting VISA might be hard. .
U need SAT for most tangible scholarship in USA.
If ur parents can sponsor u , then search for schools . u have to do the searching urself. U can use college board to eliminate some schools.
U can ask of Canadian schools too, they don't need SAT. Though I don't know much about them . Use GOOGLE.
Ur TOEFL score is just OK. Its not very high score , bear than in mind. Very few schools use TOEFL only for scholarship consideration .

Scholarship is free money and that makes it very competitive..... if you only wrote TOEFL and no SAT and your toefl is 79 . That not a score of a strong candidate for scholarship... .... let me be honest with you .

You probably need to write Sat and aim for much higher to be competitive

First, if the man is busy and has a good IELTS or TOEFL test score, he'll not only get a scholarship but also the visa. His age is still okay.

28 and going for undergraduate is a huge red flag..You will only get that Visa with a miracle. And yes you cant get scholarship with TOEFL, undergraduates generally need to do SAT not TOEFL to stand a chance at scholarship

Kk i get, all i just want is a school that the visa application will not be easy to get cos i heard its not all schools they give visa too. I dont need funding, scholarship, the ranking should be okay cause i heard dey look at that too.. The most important thing is for d visa to be approved.. Thanks

Alright. You'd definitely have to take SAT and TOEFL. Some schools can waive both, but that's a one chance stuff.
And if you need funding, you have to take tests definitely.
After that, your applications follows, after that, your i20 arrives, after that you go get your visa and viola, you are in the abroad!

My advice:. If you have your visa already start packing your bags and baggages. But If you don't have it yet or you don't even have admission yet God shall surprise before this year runs out in Jesus name... abeg hasten things up.

The reason you're probably not getting a response is you're not been specific, you want a student visa and schools to apply to. Are you going for high school, undergrad or postgrad? You didn't tell us course. You didn't even say anything about you whether you'd love funding or not, whether you've taken any test or not?

Kindly take things one step at a time. If you have not been admitted to a school, you have no business talking about student visa. So your first step is getting a school to admit you. Are you for undergraduate or postgraduate?
