MATTHEW59: Science last year not engrg, because some left when they were asked 2, those that waited were moved 2 the said dept. Comp sci , maths and geophy and geology re in science faculty, u hv 2 believe. MATTHEW59: @ Tizzle, it is not that bad. @ ola4shure, u have 2 bold and confident, u go for ur registration and they will ask those without f/maths 2 leave, lobby people on what 2 do and u will be given course that do not require f/maths. Last year, those without f/maths were moved 2 geophysics and geology. Wait for list 2 be released and after that ACTION.@Matt its that bad o I know about 5people last year that didn't enter cos of this f.maths thing |

ayolinger: There's no such thing as preferential treatment, even thou Federal Character requires for a even development and treatment of the candidates, Catchment is a system for admitting people from the region which the school feel it wants to favor, its part of their ACT and nobody can question that, don't see it as such the law provide for it and you shouldn't feel offended cos of it, its part of the bad educational system.Mo matter what I still feel its bad nd should be stopped. |

Nd d cut-off for d course is 63,D person didn't make merit bt a person with 55 did simply because she z from ebonyi state,I strongly think this catchment of a thing is cheating and should be abolished in all fed. Unis because we 're all one in this country nd no one should be given preferential treatment,Even if Catchment must continue it should be for only state unis,at least that's more like it. |
