Your first school certificate is important but here you are only asked by nysc where you had your first school leaving certificate with year you entered and year finished dats all. U r nt to provide it. its jst for reference purpose though its good to av it cos u might be needing it someday.

Pls my advice is you forward your complain to nysc. Since they are the ones to send ur call up to you, they should have a backdoor whereby changes can be made to the data sent to them they are in a better position to answer ur query

Due to recent health issues such as Ebola outbreak as well as security problems with Boko haram kiling innocent people and destroying lives and property. I pray that our case maybe different this time cos God said we are the favoured batch, some of us have missed service on so many occasions for no reason but God says its time for you to be mobilized, some their names were, some were sick,had spill,travelled out, etc if they had been mobilized they won't make is but as you can see my friends there is time for everytin and Gods time is the best, when God says yes nobody can say no. Camp activities have already started we have 10days to start of submission of masterlists by schools.
30days before registrations end.
33days to notification/release of call-up numbers.
46days to collection/printing of call-up letters.
53days to batch C'14 camp. Going by this it will cause a lot of problems. There is a two way theory am thinking NYSC might use which is same as that of batch B. This however I've sumerized with a few points. It takes weeks for you to settle down do your clerance before the xmass break of corse not everybody comes for xmass break because some are not yet accepted and so need to find a place for their PPA. If batch C will be divided into streams it means one might go to camp and the other won't though dey will do registration in camp but will not do the mandatory 30days in camp. Another crusial issue is before nw we had 36 states where coppers were posted to but due to security reasons we now have less than that as such most bacthes go in streams to accomodate people and avoid overcrowding in camps, let's keep praying friends and hope everything will work out to the Glory of God. My dear if u ask me I ll rather serve in my state than serve in Abuja. One of the reasons people who school outside serve in beta places like abuja is becuase they have money and do not rely on the 19800 where as how much does accomodation cost there, u get a room in abuja for 150k for a year so if u r poor u can't school outside except through schoolarship or sponsorship, another problem is transportation for example in abuja u may transport to ur place of primary assignment spending 6 or 7hundred daily for taxi, how much will u get a nice meal? At least if u wish to afford d cheapest meal there u spend 1k befor u get road side food there is a problem unless u r lucky to find an uncompleted buildind where mama put sells then u might be lucky to get a meal of 4hundred naira. For an average nigerian the cost and standered of living there is high whereas the pay is small and will not be enough to last you for a month cos yhu have to pay for CDS and other things every month. So if u r rich abuja is jst the perfect place to serve but if u r not better look somewhere else. Most graduates who school outside are wealthy they do not manage life cos the money is there. Service year is not all about suffering so my friends choose wisely where to serve before its late cos you might be posted to a place and you will discover the standered of living there is high, you may try to rediploy or even ask them to regect you and that also will not work so u end up borrowing money during your service year to make life comfortable for you. Have you thought of life after service? When the change stops coming so cut your clothe according to ur pocket

Yes thumb printing or biometrics is working perfectly well if you r having difficulties it could be that either the machine it self is faulty or it could be from the computer settings the ict staff will have to dissable some settings from the computer firewall or else you won't be able to thumb print. Another alternative is you should go to a cafe where people have registered before you won't expirience such issues there.

U can not make payment via ATM you won't even see the option there jst go with your ATM card to the cafe where you 'll be doing the online reg. U ll enta ur card number and pin at the cafe and the amount will be deducted and a confirmation pin sent to your mobile fone which will be used to complete the registration process. The pin sent to you only last for 3mins or less so you need to enta the code sent to your fone imediately. Failure to do so means u get multiple pins which makes the process difficult cos. You won't knw which pin to use, in my case I got four different pins.

Pls ensure to visit a good cyber cafe so u won't end up paying twice cos if ur money is deducted and u can't continue wit the registration process it means u haven't registered.after the online reg I printed my slip tot it was over till I got a message today. I did mine three weeks back and I got a messsage from NYSC today that Dear ¤¤¤¤¤¤¤ ¤¤¤¤ , your application for mobilization (2014 Batch C) is being processed. Your Call-up number shall be sent via SMS once mobilized. Which means I've completed the online process. Pls be patient if u've completed the reg cos urs too will be sent to you pls note only dose of us who wish to print their call up online shld be expecting such text.

Its optional but most people prefer it dat way for example if you school in zamfara and reside in taraba after ur programe you 'll have to travel back all they way to collect your callup in school with d risks associated with travellin you might end up spending more than 4thousand for transportation and other tinz. So its safer dis way

I'll advice you to forward your details of your transaction together with the pin that was sent to you to NYSC help desk. If you got an alert that money was deducted from your account you migth as well forward that too to them sometimes it takes a day after payment before you get a confirmation mail. These hapened to me too. After payment. I got four mails like dis The following email was sent to you from NYSC Portal.

Note: Don't bother sending mail to this email address because it is a virtual address. But the fourth mail told me transaction successful so I had four different pins in each mail sent but only one worked the one with successfull transaction. Give it a try

I registered from Benue State at first I taugth the process will be easy but it took two day to get through with it. At first network was bad and so was the servers too. after payment my biometric page wasn't opening the ict staff both at NYSC and where I went to went jst too good infact we send them a mail with my account and the issue was resolved in no time infact they called me to confirm the transaction. Well I was quite surprised when I was asked to fill in certaian information on the form so I ll advice you to go prepared with details like ur first school leaving certificate with address, year of entry and year finished.ur secondary school name with address and year finished, you ll also need two next of kins with their address and fone numbers. I even had to fill my trouser size, shoe size, and shirt size online. Pls after the tumbprintin or biometrics you need to scan a passport to be attached to ur credentials or better still go along with a passport jst one. Payment is done at d cafe with ur master or verve atm card pls to make tins easy make sure u have an active account and u receive alerts so that wen the transaction is done, a code is sent to ur mobile fone instantly(the one u opened ur bank account with)the code has about five or six digits with Two alphabets inclusive which is entered on the computer for verification(). You must also have an active email accout cos ur registration ID is ur email account. Ur callup and confirmation is forwarded to ur mail.and don't forget ur matric number and lastly ur jamb reg number. I hope dis will be of help.thumbs up NYSC ;

Please I wll like to dj in camp and I do not have an idea as to the criteria for joining OBS, also I would love to know the type of instruments played in most camps whether it's serator, Virtual dj etc
