Politics / Re: Should Soldiers Be Deployed For The 2015 Elections? by tkwo: 1:10pm On Feb 20, 2015

Police and civil defense without gun versus thugs with gun and weapons. If I dnt see military men around am nt going anywhere close to cast any vote. Guess some people are trying to hijack ballot boxes.
i guess we have lots of issues in this country! angry what are the functions of police and civil defense if not to protect us! a solder is not meant to be in the street . this happens only when there is serious unrest in the country. i am not against posting solders to bokoharam troubled states but solders should stay off street of all peaceful states. Giving this kind of work to solder means u are making them to see vulnerabilities which they can explore and take over the government.

please let keep solders off the street! angry

You are the one fooling yourself...

In the last 6 years.. U.S blocked every channel of weapon sale to Nigeria.. It was blocked in the U.S, Israel, And South Africa..

Until we went to Russia and Ukraine, which U.S has no power over.. Nigeria couldn't secure some weapons to combat the hi-tech weapons of BH.

Secondly, in the last 6 yrs.. Neither border nations joined the fight.. Now we have Chad, Niger, Cameron and A.U in this fight.

Over 20,000 solders, Airforce and Navy are in this fight . Hence, the massive offensive and bombardment..

can u listen to yourself? so US just sold the weapon or we just got the weapon from russia within this six weeks? have u asked yourself, what weapon Nigeria armed forces has been using for peace keeping mission? what had stopped our president from taking help from neighboring countries before now? why all these successes happening within this six weeks of election postponement? why did we allow over 13 thousand nigerians to die before taken this action?

But this is actually a very good news. victory coming at last. smiley

i will so so dump to celebrate 1967 warship in 2015! this is terrible! do our armed forces engage in research at all? when will we start devoloping our own warship? how do we expect to be greater than USA when we depend deeply on them? sad we could not even get recent weapon only scrap from USA. this is pathetic!

Education / Re: FG To Make Degree Minimum Teaching Qualification by tkwo: 11:36am On Feb 20, 2015

does this mean that all COE will be scrapped? and what will happen to all teachers with NCE cert? angry will this not create more unemployment? i think the fedral Gov needs to check all these before making statement.

Lagos has already made it compulsory for all senior class teachers to be degree holders while junior class teachers are NCE holders. this is what i expect Fedral govt. to do.

Also i want to advise fed govt to try and upgrade all NCE up to level of awarding B.ed. this will help.
Politics / Re: Non-Indigenes Of Lagos March To INEC Office To Demand PVCs (Pictured) by tkwo: 11:23am On Feb 20, 2015
I still dont understand how we think in this part of the world! i cant remember filling state of origin during voters registration. how do u think it is possible for inec to remove all non yorubas from over 5 million registered voters? and for their small mind think tinubu and fashola are in charge of lagos inec? the fact remains that most igbos travelled to their respective villages for registration in 2011 and want to collect card in lagos. i know lots of igbos who registered in lagos and have collected their voters card. can we for once think and dont let politics to divide us!
Thanks.
