I remember Obasanjo commissioned this same power plant before he left office!
To date, not a single kilowatt has been generated.
Can the PDP confirm that gas now flows into the plant?
Last time I checked there was no gas!

The plant is actually running, and already delivering power to the grid.

You can see steam from all the cooling towers, and the usual high pitch sound of running gas turbine can be heard.

This is quite commendable.
Delivering power to which grid? And we are still barely having 2500 mw.... unless you're saying we were actually shy of 750mw before...

I believe this is one of the reasons OBJ is at logger-heads with him. Jonathan's 4 years has produced positive changes than OBJ's 8 years.

Thrash. 750MW in 5yrs. South africa is generating 56,000MW, Tunisia 34,000MW, zimbabwé 17,000MW, Eygpt 38,000MW. Nigeria plus 5 wasted years of corrupt gej, 3,550MW. And some dunce re clapping hands.

He is partially right. Obj started and completed phase one. I'm not sure who started phase 2 but phase 2 has been running since 2012.

We should all know that change is a gradual process...it is better to move like a snail and get to your destination than to move like a jet and get to your destination in scraps...

Voting buhari is like surrendering all the technologies in vogue and going back to stone age.
Please, ask Buhari, "what is the website of INEC?"

Same one built by the Chinese and none of the operating manuals is written in English. Remember an engineer confirmed this when a minister visited the plant a while ago.

You obviously don't know what you are saying. Point to any project he started. This project was started by OBJ and phase 1 was commissioned. This is just extension of same project so why all the fuss. It is just too late in the day for him to change people's mind
