I've not come to cause 'disunity' as you claimed, but to throw light into ur shallow post (we're d light of d world...).

I had to comment because......(...to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin -James 4:17).

If u're a 'cooked' xtian that u claim to be, u won't call me a devil like u did in one of ur comments above, & u will know that the applicability of some biblical laws & quotations is a function of time & location (past, present age & part of the world).

God moved in diff. phases & dimensions between Genesis and now....phase of innocence(b4 d law), phase of d laws and d prophets....and now is d phase of THE KINGDOM LIFE.

Most of old testament laws & guidelines are Jewish traditions that were allowed by Moses so as to manage d stuborness of d Israelites (They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? He said unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so-Matt.19:7-8), and were wrongfully enforced by d pharisees, sadducees, scribes et al (This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men-Matt.15:8-9).

Some parts of d New Testament are Apostle paul's personal opinion 1Cor.7:25, 1Tim.2:11-12. (Matt.5:22 vs Gal.3:1, Gal.1:9, 1Tim.5:1-2 vs Matt.23:13, Jn 2:4, 1Tim.5:20).

Not all of The Proverbs was written by King Solomon, & part of his own write-ups in Proverbs & Songs of Solomon were personal opinions & not inspired by God. Also, not all Psalms were written by King David. Eccleciastes was written by King Solomon in his old age when he has realised the vanity of some of d things he wrote in proverbs & especially Songs of Solomon.

Most pastors today use personal visions ambition & twist scripture to cajole, manipulate & keep members, so as to continue extorting xtians who have little or no understanding of The Bible & The Eternal purpose of God (Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom........ Colossians 3:16, Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that need not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the
word of truth-2Tim.2:15, ........These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so-Acts 17:10-11).

The era of priests & prophets ended with Zechariah, after d birth of John The baptist, then the communication and relationship between God and man took another dimension (The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man
presseth into it -Luke 16:16 -said by Jesus Christ himself).

I will advice you to first read and understand all the teachings of Jesus Christ (written in red in ur bible), and to always pray to The Holy Spirit to enlighten you each time you read bible quotations & d opinions of your "God of Men" called "Men of God".

Your manifestation must be for The Kingdom, not for your pastor or his ministry (company).

May The Lord help you to know d difference through The Righteousness of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Why do you like to cover the evil deeds of your leaders, when God didn't cover the evil deeds of bible characters so that we can learn thru them (For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. Rom.15:4).
Don't come here to deceive people with worldly reasoning or philosophy -Colosians :8 (for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. –Matt.10:26). God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. –Ecc.12:14
