Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has publicly told members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state to ensure that they vote for the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar during the 2023 presidential election.” Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir has publicly told members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state to ensure that they vote for the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar during the 2023 presidential election. Recall that a few weeks ago,"he Said the people of bauchi will vote whoever buhari told them to" it was reported in some sections of the media that he is not working for the presidential candidate of the party, a report the state chapter of the PDP denied. Bala Mohammed was speaking to the people of Gamawa and Zaki local government areas during his campaign tour telling them unequivocally to vote for Atiku Abubakar massively during the general elections. The Governor declared that the PDP remains the only political party that can salvage the nation from its present situation. He however urged Nigerians who are eligible voters to massively vote for the presidential candidate of the PDP whom, he said, presently stands as the only leader that could salvage the country from its economic doldrums and restore the lost glory of the country if elected as the nation’s number one citizen. Bala Mohammed who is seeking re-election for a second term in office, promised the mammoth crowd that besieged the Gamawa and Zaki stadium, the venue of the campaign launch, that if elected, he will build the same industry and road to ease their suffering in transporting the commodity from their farms to the markets. He appealed to the thousands of PDP supporters in Gamawa and Zaki to vote for Atiku Abubakar as president and himself as Governor as well as all other candidates seeking elective positions in the state from top to bottom under the platform of PDP. The Governor also urged the people of Gamawa and Zaki LGAs not to be deceived by the APC fake campaign promises advising them to collect whatever is given out to them as empowerment ranging from cash or foodstuff because it is part of their siphoned money, and vote for PDP candidates. Earlier, the Director General of the Kaura Campaign Council, Faruq Mustapha also appealed to the people of the two local governments to vote for Atiku Abubakar and Bala Mohammed to continue to enjoy more dividends of democracy. In their separate welcome addresses, the PDP local government chairmen of Gamawa and Zaki thanked the Governor for selecting the areas for the flagging off of his gubernatorial campaign, saying that the party has almost all the votes from the areas. They assured the Governor that the people of Gamawa and Zaki will reciprocate by coming out massively to vote for the victory of the PDP in the Gamawa Local Government Area of the state. Highlights of the event included the presentation of flags to the party candidates from the Northern zone of the state by the PDP State Chairman, Hamza Koshe Akuyam.

Zulum500:mumu all this una cheap propaganda, Buhari obviously called them to assure them of their safety. That religion cannot divide Nigeria, Nigerians will destroy and annihilated the devilish ticket next month |
Na governors go vote na.. I don't know about you in the north, what am sure of is that the only way APC can return to power is to rig it, even vote buying won't save them, I meant it... And they(APC) are not ready for a free and fair, they will lose if they does. |
If you have not live in the SW before you won't know how they play politics, Tinubu will win SW.. The only thing opposition party need to do is to throw money, so as to reduce the margin.. LP don't have Money to spend, I expect PDP to counter APC in SW... Just share money, you will get reasonable votes.. |
I agree with your analysis except 2 Apc cannot get 600k votes in SE who dash them, And two LP cannot get a million votes in NW highest is 700k. And to think PDP and APC will share the same votes in SS, then you no nothing.. either PDP or LP is winning SS with a little margin, APC will be coming distance third.. |

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) via its governor, Godwin Emefiele has maintained that January 31, 2023, remains the deadline date for the exchange of old naira notes to new notes, Investors King reports. To ensure seamless exchange for its customers, Ecobank Nigeria called on its customers to approach any of its branches to deposit old naira banknotes into their accounts to avoid a last-minute rush, also assuring them of gaining a minimum of eight percent interest on their savings. In a message to its customers, the bank assured that measures are in place in all its branches to ensure painless, easy and stress-free cash deposits by customers, adding that the bank’s branches are now open for business on Saturdays to accept deposits from customers. David Isiavwe, Ecobank Group Head, Operations and Technology while being quizzed in Lagos, said there are no charges on cash deposits at any Ecobank branch, no matter the volume. He assured customers of prompt services any day of the week and on Saturdays when the branches are also open to receiving cash. “We wish to inform our customers not to wait for rush hour to bring their cash to the bank. They should visit any of our branches closest to them to deposit their cash in their account. We have extended our working days to Saturday to enable customers deposit cash. Though we are impressed with the present turn out of customers, there is still the need for others to comply. We don’t want any of our customers to miss the CBN’s deadline.” First Bank PLC has also extended its daily operations to Saturday as they want customers to bring in old notes for deposit. A statement from the bank read “Have you been busy all week long and can’t visit any of our branches? Don’t worry, come in this Saturday from 10 am – 1 pm and get a debit card while you deposit your old naira notes; there will be no charges for cash returned/paid into your accounts.” Fidelity Bank PLC has also joined in the extension of operations as the bank has temporarily extended its operating hours to 6.00pm after the Central Bank announced the unveiling of the new naira notes before the earlier scheduled time. The Federal Government through the CBN, on December 15, 2022 introduced new designs of 200, 500 and 1000 banknotes into the nation’s financial system.

ItsTutsi:yes.. but I still think PDP will drag votes because of Apc misrule, that's why I hint Apc has an edge, not by supporters, but by vote buying. They are the ruling party it is not easy to defeat them, and also money will play a huge part in this coming election, if obi said he is not ready to share money, then he should be ready to lose. |
MeanChris:I know, is like you don't live in SE. The issue of Biafra agitation have made majority of people lose interest in anything Nigeria, even with obi on ballot, some foolish igbos won't still vote.. |
SE cannot give obi 10m votes highest is 6m... Obi cannot get 2m votes in NW.. Atiku and tinubu may win North Central, forget the majority Christian there, election is by money, stomach infrastructure.. Mind you Atiku will get more than 20 % votes in SE... Some people still think obi is in PDP, and also the LP and Pdp flag lookalike. I still believe Apc and PDP has an edge with Apc still likely favorite due to poor masses and hunger in the land.. Apc will use rural areas and ready to give at least 20k per vote. Soo Apc has an edge. |
![]() Omo I don laugh tire when I heard wike planning to work with tinubu, lol ![]() If Apc knows what is good for them, they should dissociate with wike, it will cost more harm than good.. reason am now .. there is no how wike can be working for Apc and make it public.. it will further make the few hausas that want to vote tinubu change their mind, they will say wike want to work with tinubu because he is from the south, lawan, yemi,Amaechi lost at primary they are not threatening to work against the party.. Go to any northerner pages now, the news of wike trying to work against Atiku gained waziri more followers ![]() Atiku wan use wike collect the remaining votes wey tinubu go get from north To cap it::: Even if wike joins Apc today, it will still not change the 8%votes Apc will get in SS/SE.Tell wike to join Apc and bring out a candidate under it in the governorship election, I can bet PDP will still floor Rivers wotowoto ![]()
