Once upon a time Libya was Christian. |
FreeStuffsNG:Vikings from Norway initially traded raised and settled in northern UK and Ireland. The Danes attacked England and France. Both groups even went as far as North Africa. Swedish vikings went through Eastern Europe down the river routes. They even captured Kyiv and created the Kyiv Rus state - the precursor to modern Ukraine. |
Kazakhstan, the same country that refused to attend Putin's crony victory day celebrations. Belarus and North Korea are their only allies. Laughable. |
Finidi George's ex team returns. And also their attacking coach is Sone Aluko. |
WtF is this poll. OP delete your account. |
OP needs a lesson in English. No where in the article does it suggest any US vessel was struck. Typical that the NL mods have zero vetting capability for fake news. |
Medvedev the drunk is all bark and no bite. He's Putler's little poodle. Not to be taken seriously.
|
musicwriter:What a strange comment. Why the love for France? They were also a colonial power. And do you actually believe the stuff you make up? Queen Elizabeth always wore gloves when meeting people. It's a well known fact. |
ogascomax:You've hit the nail in the head. A lot of money is changing hands (not for this OP though, he's just the manual labourer alongside his alt account writer NG) an investigative journalist could have a field day. |
"The person" is an ignorant and cruel man. Just free it and let it go. It might have chicks depending on it. Does "the person" consider that, or does he view nature as his market place? Do this in a civilized country and you would get arrested for disturbing a protected bird. |
Nice try with fake news ![]() "BBC says" without a BBC source 🤣🤣 The resident troll is getting desperate to please his masters. And the pathetic mugs...I mean mods are all too happy to oblige. |
Russia the paper tiger - these are fake stats. The fact that little Ukraine can palm them off proves that. |
I call BS. The OP was sent home to stop wasting hospital resources and asked chat gpt to write a moanathon in anger. The statistics, perfect English and em dashes give it away. As usual the NL mods are picking only the best posts for the front page..... |
In the days of Explorers, this would have been an interesting national geographic type story with no political angle. Now? We get this deluded crackpot brown nosing Putin so he can afford some suya. And a mod is in on it too otherwise this nonsense poster wouldn't see the light of day, nevermind the FP. What an absolute load of trash this website has become. |
Russians are barbaric. This fact is known through history. And they openly celebrate it. Look at Wagner using the sledgehammer on deserters' heads They made it part of their emblem. Do you think they will give flowers to the African mercenaries who decide the frontline isn't for them? The shock of those squeaking 'pRoPaGaNdA' is hilarious. Those in the Russia meat grinder are shown no mercy. |
The Ayatollah continues to supply thousands of Shahed drones to Putin and village idiots on here still think they have the know-how to comment on this thread. Russia, Iran and North Korea are part of Putin's invasion of Ukraine. Zelensky can say what the hell he likes about these aggressors. |
Wtf is wrong with this forum pushing unverified trash to the front page. This place is rotten to the core. |
God1000:Have you been living under a rock? Trump banks Putin. He's on Russia's side. This is why Putin is so quiet about Trump attacking HIS ALLY. |
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/1/22/russian-exiles-unlikely-to-return The troll didn't report on this now did he.
|
Hahaha 🤣 Some ex Wagner trucks that would be too expensive to send back to Russia to be immediately destroyed by Ukrainian drones. Yet some poor mod has the wool right over his eyes to make this worthless story on the FP. |
It's this kind of thread that perpetuates a bad global image of Nigeria. Wicked NL mods. At the same time we can't hide from it so let's not kid ourselves. The backward, sick, simpletons who did this to an innocent creature will just as easily do this to a human with a machete tomorrow. Hunger can't always be used as an excuse. |
"Kaliningrad" is clearly writeerNG's new account judging by how unoriginal it is. You should rename yourself Karaliaučius or Königsberg. These two would be more accurate judging by who that exclave really belongs to. |
Imagine all the sand on that pitch. What a nightmare to maintain. Did I say maintain? This will be a desert before too long. |
Tennis fan dubbed 'most hated man in America' for stealing boy's cap at US Open finally breaks his silence with grovelling apology Piotr Szczerek, the man who has attracted fury online after he stole a US Open player's hat meant for a young fan, has finally issued a grovelling apology. Internet sleuths unmasked the millionaire businessman behind Polish paving company Drogbruk in recent days after a viral video showed him swiping the memento intended for a child, known as Brock, by tennis star Kamil Majchrzak. Posted on his company's Instagram account, Szczerek said in a lengthy statement he made 'a huge mistake' and revealed he has since given the hat back to Brock. Szczerek, who has turned off comments on the post 'out of concern for my family', wrote: 'Due to the situation that occurred during Kamil Majchrzak's match at the US Open, I would like to unequivocally apologize to the injured boy, his family, all the fans, and the player himself. 'I made a grave mistake. In the midst of emotion, amidst the crowd's celebration after the victory, I was convinced that the tennis player was passing the cap to me – for my sons, who had previously asked for autographs. This mistaken belief caused me to instinctively reach out. 'Today I know that I did something that looked like I deliberately took a souvenir from a child. It wasn't my intention, but that doesn't change the fact that I hurt the boy and disappointed the fans. The cap was given to the boy, and an apology is due to the family. I hope that I have at least partially repaired the harm.' 'I also want to make it clear: neither I, my wife, nor my sons commented on this situation on social media or on any website,' he continued. 'We did not use the services of any law firm in this regard. All alleged statements appearing online are not ours. 'For years, my wife and I have been involved in helping children and young athletes, but this situation has shown me that one moment of inattention can undo years of work and support. This is a painful but necessary lesson in humility for me. 'Therefore, I will be even more actively involved in initiatives supporting children and young people and in actions against violence and hate. I believe that only through actions can I rebuild lost trust.' The ugly scene unfolded moments after Polish player Majchrzak went to the crowd after the biggest win of his career. The 29-year-old defeated ninth seed Karen Khachanov in a marathon five-set thriller on Thursday - and then was filmed removing his cap and trying to hand it to the excited schoolboy in the crowd on Court 11. But in a clip that sparked widespread outrage online, Szczerek was standing next to the awestruck boy and reached out, grabbed the autographed hat and stuffed it into his bag. That left the youngster looking crestfallen and asking, 'What are you doing?', as Majchrzak walked away, unaware of what had just happened. Majchrzak has since confirmed to the New York Post that Szczerek is the man in the video, and revealed he sponsors his tennis federation in Poland, adding there was 'obviously some kind of confusion' over the incident. Online vigilantes named Mr Szczerek - who heads up paving firm Drogbruk - as the person dubbed the 'most hated man on the internet' and hit out at his behavior. 'Only an ordinary idiot and a jerk could snatch a hat from a child's hands,' one person wrote about alleged cap-snatcher Szczerek online. Another raged: 'If the company's president so unscrupulously stole a child's hat, if I were a customer, I would no longer use his services.' While a third added: 'That is called stealing property that doesn't belong to you, and that is no man, a coward, a bully, and a cheat taking from a child?? New low.' Szczerek is an amateur competitive tennis player who was introduced to the sport by his wife Anna, according to Polish news outlet Tenis Magazyn. The married couple are understood to have a private tennis court at their home in Kalisz, Poland, where they once hosted Urszula Radwanska, a retired Polish tennis ace. Since taking up tennis, Szczerek has risen to the second division of the amateur Kalisz Tennis Association. His company - which was founded in 1999 and has its HQ Błaszki about 155 miles west of Warsaw - reportedly sponsors a number of local sports programmes as well as rising young tennis players. It is understood he had sponsored Poland's tennis federation. Describing how it unfolded, Majchrzak said: 'I was pointing, giving the hat, but I had a lot going on after my match, after being super tired and super excited for the win. I just missed it. 'I had like a dead look if you know what I mean. I’m sure the guy was also acting in the moment of heat, in the moment of emotions.' Majchrzak was reunited with Brock at Flushing Meadows on Saturday and a video posted on the player's Instagram account showed them shaking hands and talking. He looked to have a bag of merchandise with him that he handed over to the young boy before they posed for a picture together. Majchrzak's caption read: 'Hello World, Together with Brock we wish you a great day!' Unfortunately, Majchrzak's day quickly went downhill as he was forced to retire from his third round match against Leandro Riedi due to injury. He was trailing 5-3 in the first set. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_GAsQCODRs https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/tennis/article-15054407/US-Open-Piotr-Szczerek-stolen-hat-young-fan-tennis.html

Still the the bots on here thinking this is made up. This is journalism at its most basic: gathering, analysing and presenting the information. The names are there, as are their ages, as are where they're from. Very easy to check. Laziness and idling is no excuse. The number of 18 year olds killed is not a sensationalist number - it sounds about right for the number of young impressionable men who want to fight for their country. Just a shame it is such a hopeless task and that they died for the ambitions of a mafia boss. |
Because the OP mentions none of what you just mentioned and instead attributes the protest to being anti-war that's why! You can't post a picture and just make it up to suit your agenda. The same dangerous lie being peddled by useful idiots like Marjorie Taylor Green. There are two sides to the argument, one of which you detailed below. The other is that the anti corruption body has long been infiltrated by Russian moles. But If this were in Russia the protestors would be in Siberia by now.The protests show how strong a democracy Ukraine is. MyExpression: |
AndroBlaze:Indeed. I'll report this as misinformation but Nairaland mods do nothing for fake news. Sign of a healthy democracy at work. |
chudez0147:Swansea is in Wales. They are one of 4 teams in Wales (Cardiff, Wrexham and Newport are the others) who are in the higher English leagues instead of the Welsh leagues. |
Parydelegate:Just have to correct this. The wall was built in the 1st and 2nd century. The Romans left Britain in the 5th century. |
Looks like WriterNG is finally being censored by the mods here. Post a news story, that is fine. But spare us from the brain-dead bilge in posts after the post. Good to see it was deleted. |
