Hi all,

Please I've seen people confirm ghost updates on their profile, but i've noticed any ghost update. All i've noticed is the progress bar move up gradually.

Please can someone confirm if this progress bar is a new feature on the IRCC website? or i'm not being vigilant enough.

Thank you.

Been looking for this comment oh! In the same boat as well and it’s been over a month too. I’ve seen that some people here have gotten recently. I was thinking of raising a CSE next week. Have you gotten any update on your medicals?
No I haven’t gotten an update on medicals either. I managed to get this done before the lockdown and uploaded the upfront form given

Hi all,

Please is there anyone here with AOR on the 25th March?

I’m worried I haven’t gotten a BIL, it’s been over a month and I’m seeing others getting a BIL almost immediately.

Thanks

1. Nope

2. I used mine as well and my GCMS notes show that it wasn't a problem. However, I wrote a LOE just in case of any issues.

3. CSE is a case specific enquiry. It allows you to ask IRCC questions such as where your Visa office is, upload any additional documents, ask how far with your application etc. The link to CSE is on your AOR letter. Or google for it.
GCMS notes show the progress of your file at the Canadian Visa Office processing it. It lets you know if there has been any issues with your application and is usually more comprehensive than the CSE. You can order for GCMS notes from websites (use google) or a friend/family member can order for you if they live in Canada.
Thank you, the PFA was 30% and I did write a LOE , attached my payslips and letter from PFA as well. Fingers crossed

For the first question, you won't any issue whatsoever. You degree doesn't necessarily have to match your occupation.

At the bolded, I'll advise that you hustle the extra change that the PFA sorted in case your case officer doesn't have joy. You will use the change to sort the balance in case your CO isn't okay with the PFA.

Lastly, you can raise a CSE (Case Specific Enquiry) to know the status of your application and it is free. You can raise it via IRCC website. GCMS notes are more explanatory than the CSE but they are in the same category, only that GCMS are offered by third parties hence, cost a lil fee but nothing exorbitant

Thank you!

Hi guys.

Many thanks to all contributors this far. Please can anyone guide me on the following issues :

1. I have a masters degree in pharmacy but also a chartered accountant and my application is based on my years of experience as an accountant - will this create a problem?

2. I used my PFA as part of my POF, I was sure this won’t be a problem before , but I’m not so certain seeing after going through the threads.

3. I’ve been seeing comments on ordering GCMS and CSE. Please what are these? And how do I find out my visa office

Please help!
