dude..i didnt read the whole article initially,but the thread was misleading in the initial paragraph ..there is no way that bridge cud be 44km.. which drew my initial reaction.. cheers

What we should be worried about is that the Lekki-Ikoyi bridge at 1,356 meters cost 29 billion (an allegedly inflated price) yet we are using 117(?) billion to build one that is 1,590 meters plus access road of 11km.

am worried about the cost as well...nd commuters will be paying toll fees for usage as well...a pity

There is also dispute over the total length of the connecting road as the article I posted says it will be about 11.9km long.

How can it be 42Km? How long is the width of the Niger?
