I just checked his profile and i noticed he registered April 2020 which means he's pretty new. He might be legit but its advisable for you to use escrow still and if he doesnt accept move on as i can see you want to buy a 2017 Macbook Air for 350K. Its better to have your 350k in your pocket and not make any gain than to lose it.

This thread helped me to kick-start my freelancing business. This thread is still relevant in this 2020.
I didn’t take any action until late 2018 and up till date I have made over $6000 working on Upwork as a Nigerian. Though it is not a lot of money but it has made a big difference in my life.
Key take away
One thing I have learnt working on Upwork is that you have to carve out a SPECIFIC NICHE for yourself to succeed quickly. On my Upwork profile you will find “banner ad designer “ and I have done over 60 jobs relating to banner ads design only.
If you are looking for way to make money on Upwork, I would like you to go through this thread too. Take actions, keeping bidding for jobs and you will really make it.

so far, one fact I've been made to understand in addition to email copywriting principles and directives... is that writing a good proposal is key to getting offers.

please while uploading previous works (whether real jobs taken or not) to upwork profile portfolio, is it acceptable to upload it the way it was supposedly delivered to that previous client, without removing the link or name of the particular product that was being sold or advertised there?
