True talk

These are trying times for our dear country Nigeria.At the inception of the current democratic rule more than a decade ago,no right thinking Nigerian would ever immagine that things could go this bad.I personally would not have believed then that Nigeria as a Nation cannot produce young,educated,vibrant and inteligent leaders to pilot our affairs 16 years later.How could a nation of Nigeria potentials lack so much in presidencial qualities that even well educated exposed and succesful citizen of this nation would be comfortable voting a man that truancated a democratic experience only to come back three decades later to ask for our votes inorder to head the same institution he once destroyed.

I want to ask my fellow citizens intending to vote Buhari to sincerely tell us why they think Buhari could make not just a good but a least an average performing president of this great nation.I have asked this same question to his supporters in my base but all i get is that he will fight corruption.We all agree that corruption is the devil that must be stamped out if our country must move forward but what we are yet to understand is how Buhari will fight same when we already see him wine and dine with percieved corrupt politicians.I even heard that baba himself is solidly behind him.They say he that goes to equity must go with clean hands.What we see in Buhari claims to free our nation from corruption if elected is not just decietful but a contradiction.

I expected something better from my country main opposition party,i must commend the APC for giving Nigerians the oppurtunity to make choices.Strong oppostion adds value to the system and keeps the ruling party on thier feet,it makes them work harder as they know the people can easily vote the otherway if they fail.When we heard of the emergence of the APC,people like me who never voted according to party lines welcomed the development.Then comes the shocker,Buhari for president.At first i dismissed it as rumours but here we are about to chose between a supposed incompetent president and someone whose educational qualification and intelectual capacities are in doubt.A man with court cases of human rights violations even at the ICC in Hague.I could go on and on.What a tragedy,i think we got a hard choice this time around,is this truly the devil and the deep blue sea as Wole Soyinka puts it.

THINK NIGERIANS THINK BEFORE YOU VOTE..........

I cant wait to see Buhari crying once again,while Amaechi,tinubu and & Elrufai Will be consolling him.I can hear them saying,dont worry there is Always a 5th time.
