There is a commercial I am trying to grep the internet for by Malta Guinness.

The theme is "Malta Guinness, Makes your dayyyyy!". It was such a catchy tune and every one in my house sang it. It would be great if there is a link to the song.

I always get this error on the GTB banking app. I currently use the e-token app to eliminate the need for physical hardware token . This worked quite alright but lately (in the last 2 months), I get an error . Sometimes the error disappears after a 3rd try , sometimes I have to wait a whole day.

Token validation failed, invalid transaction code or wrong token used. Please retry after 3minutes or *737*7# on your registered device … see image below

I believe it’s not a daily limit issue because it did not matter if I’m attempting to transfer one thousand or one million Naira.

It practically occurs randomly and at inconvenient times
It’s such a painful inconsistency . Has anyone figured how to solve this issue? The GTB Helpdesk could not help. I am not in Nigeria at the moment so the USSD suggested there is not really an option . Please help

Thank you. I just wanted to clarify this because of a fellow naija mate coming in from Nigeria . Just maybe it was my card that had the issue. I have had to resort to Paypal transfers ever since.

Sorry to interject but did you purchase above $300? because I tried $800 and it was declined when I have well about N50000 in the account. I bought money order all through last year but lately I haven't been able to do it

I usually go for money order because the charge is only $0.70c but since the CBN cap came in I have not really used it.

the last tym I wanted to buy money order from Walmart using my Fcmb debit Mastercard, dey told me they accept only credit card. I had to use cash to buy the money order. What type of card did U use to purchase the money order. Any body with experience shud answer.

I had exactly the same issue. I tried both GTB and ACCESS bank cards. A friend did the same. All she said was she it only accepts credit cards, mind you I have purchased money orders in the past with this same debit cards.
I think its the $300 cap that was the issue though
