When I see people talking about how tiktok, instagram, social media influence the whole nigeria music and made it more opened to the masses (upcoming artist) to thrive on. I quite agreed with them but one thing they always forget is to give accolades to the two men who made it possible before those app came noticed.

We all knew how the nigeria music industry operated in the early 2000s, ( 2 decades ago) it was controlled by different cabals who called themselves record labels, from kennis music, square records, storm records, mo hit and some other few. if you don't belong to any of the aforementioned you can't get a collaboration not to talk of making it big in nigeria. they were many upcoming artist then who were so good but was never heard of because soundcity refuses to play their songs. Them never play kennis stars music finish, na you when dey ojulegba...na them want play?
Radio stations were delibartely turning down upcoming musicians record tapes except you got connection to pull some strings.

Then came wizkid and Davido, they changed the entire music scene from the hands of this cabals and the monopoly they practiced. like so many wizkid was signed to eme record when he was still a teenager. he spent few years and left, during that time alot of upcoming artist saw that they could actually thrived, since wizkid did it, davido did it within a short period of time they could also.

That was the end of the Godfatherism in the nigeria music entertainment. so many of them old school musicisns with likes of dbanj, 2face were forced to retirement home! thumbs up to wizkid and davido they made the industry opened to everyone because they practically decentralized it and they forever have my respect for that.

Brother, Include Olamide into that category as well. The guy is a legend!

1.Buhari CPC had majority votes in Northern region in general in 2011. Against Jonathan!

2. Obj's case is quite different, we all know Obj doesn't joke with state elections let alone his own ambitious position. There was massive rigging in elections during OBJ's tenure.

3. Apart from that, Obj has a Northerner as VP during his time.

I repeat again " an average core northerner will prefer to vote for Atiku than voting for Tinubu/Ameachi/Osinbajo, irreespective of the ruling party in that state.

Whether you believe or not, Atiku is the next president of Nigeria come 2023.

Reasons:
1. He will have majority votes in Northern region in general, Irrespective of the ruling party in the state!
2. Average Northerner will prefer to vote for Atiku than voting for Obi or Tinubu. It's just common sense!
3. Southern region votes is already divided between Obi and Tinubu.
4. If Atiku/Obi had contested the 2019 election against any of the two ( Tinubu/Osinbajo). It could have been a landslide victory for PDP then. APC won that election because of Buhari's popularity in that region, but truthfully, the SW contributed as well.

It's usually funny when people make political analysis based on their emotions and would even attempt to blackmail you into agreeing to their obviously faulty dreams...

Two days ago, there was a thread on FP where most people said Wike would win the PDP primaries. And some were making useless analysis.

I begin to wonder if these people think Twitter and Nairaland is reality compared to what reality actually is.

Now that Wike lost to Atiku as expected, they started talking about him being betrayed. What a useless excuse to anyone who understands how politics work.

I don't understand how people stay comfortable rooting for losers all their lives.

Let me make it clear that at the APC primaries, the APC will either adopt a consensus system by picking Jonathan (if the rumors are true) to battle Atiku at the general elections or Tinubu would win the primaries outrightly.
Amaechi doesn't stand a chance. Not even a second place will fit him.

In all, APC will come out victorious in the general elections.

now guys understand that i somehow have the feeling that i got cheated. in fact i know i got cheated but i would need you guys to tell me if i got cheated or i did well. but that is not the story. the story is this so she brought the plantain. six in total and said 2000 and i knew right away i was being cheated but see sometimes as humans we have to look past this being possessive with our money stuff. you have to once in a while ( or frequently ) reward people who are trying and making an effort to succeed. dont always feel the need to squeeze every last drop of your change out of people or to beat peoples prices down to the point where they cant make a living themselves. ALWAYS have some bit of compassion for people and think about their survival too. stop pricing down people to where they can hardly make a living after working so hard

and so back to my story i looked at this woman, she is sitting under the sun all day i looked at her tray, there is maybe like 7 bunches of plantain in there. am thinking if she sells all today she gets 14000 but of course she bought the plantain somewhere else so she has to pay for the plantain too so at the end of the day what is her profit margin ? maybe for herself for the whole day maybe 3000 ? and she will buy food while sitting there for 10 hours so maybe she takes home 2000 ? she looked like she has children she will have bills and expenses etc etc etc. MY POINT IS THAT I KNEW I WAS GETTING CHEATED BY BUYING THAT PLANTAIN FOR 2000 BUT I DIDNT MIND GETTING CHEATED BECAUSE SOMETMES YOU JUST HAVE TO REWARD PEOPLE WHO ARE TRYING SO HARD. AND SO I GAVE HER THE 2000 AND HOPE HER LIFE IS FINE.

You've done the right thing but I'm not sure you said the right thing to the woman.

In other words, you should have let the woman know you're just giving her the extra money that you know you're not supposed to buy that in such amount called by her.
