Story for the gods. Why on earth is the NIA DG not in custody? No mater how the APC media spins this ,we will never be deceived. The party will be kicked out in 2019 and true probe instituted into this shameful probe and cover up!!
The whole thing is a ploy to drag GEJ's name to the mud. This will not work.

PoliticsPDP Crisis: Feuding Parties Not Ready For Reconciliation, Says David Mark by tok2olije(op): 11:25pm On Apr 11, 2017

Senator David Mark has declared that the warring parties involved in the crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are not ready for reconciliation, adding that “the combatants are not coming with an open mind for reconciliation.”

Despite the gale of defections affecting the troubled party, Mark restated his resolve to remain in the party no matter the odds.

According to him, “No matter the difficulties and challenges, I will remain in the PDP. I was convinced about the party’s ideology to among other things, keep Nigeria United, progressive, peaceful and a nation where every citizen is free to live and pursue his or her legitimate ambition without fear of molestation or intimidation in any part before I joined in 1998,” Sen. Mark stated.

Addressing PDP faithful at an expanded caucus meeting in Makurdi, Benue State, on Tuesday, Sen. Mark stated: “PDP will come out stronger from this crisis. Those cross carpeting at will , have no direction . They have no respect for political ideology.”

The development, he described was a disservice to democracy, pointing out that the only way to sustain our democratic culture is to be consistent with political ideology instead of dancing to the whims and caprices of any government in power.

On the forthcoming local government elections in Benue state, Senator Mark urged party members to work hard and remain steadfast hoping that the will of the people will prevail.

“I want you to go to the field and work hard for the election. We must say no to any electoral malpractices. You must not allow them to manipulate the process. We crave for a free, fair and credible election so that the wish of the people will prevail,” he said.

On the security challenges in Benue state, Sen. Mark enjoined the state government to step up and protect lives and properties now endangered.

In his remarks, the chairman of the party in Benue state, Chief John Ngbede stated that the PDP is alive and asked members to discard any rumours about faction or disintegration of the party.

According to Ngbede, “the PDP is alive. We are still strong and we can win elections. We have learnt from our past mistakes and we are back, strong and better.”

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN “FEW” AND “A FEW”; “LITTLE, AND “A LITTLE”?

Hello friends, I hope your weekend was good. Today on Dissecting Grammar, I would like to clarify some issues relating to the use of the above quantifiers. Many times, people use “few”, “a few” and “little”, “a little” interchangeably without knowing that they (the people) are actually wrong. Please pay attention to this analysis and I promise you will never regret being here.
I want you to have it in mind that “few” and “little” are quantifiers that simply means “some but not enough” while “a few” and “a little” means “not enough at all”. While “few” and “little” are used in a positive sense, “a few” and “a little” have a negative connotation.

WHAT IS A QUANTIFIER

A quantifier is a word or, sometimes, a phrase that indicates the number or amount of something referred to. It tells us about the quantity of a noun. It usually comes before the noun it quantifies. In English, quantifiers are categorized under determiners. There are simple quantifiers (e.g, all, many, some, etc) and there are complex quantifiers (e.g, a lot of, a few, etc). I will make effort, in this article, to explain the proper use of three quantifiers that are often misused.
How to Use “many”, “much” and “a lot of”
The above quantifiers are used to talk about something that exists in large quantity.
‘Many’ is used with countable nouns.
Example
·Many persons have been reported killed by the Nyanya bomb blast.

‘Much’ is used with uncountable nouns.
Example
·He has much grain in his store.

‘A lot of’ can be used for both countable and uncountable nouns.
Examples
·There is a lot of food in the house. (Used with uncountable noun)
·A lot of people were prevented from visiting the President on his return from medical vacation. (Used with countable noun).
It should be noted that only ‘many’ and ‘much’ can be used to make an interrogative statement (i.e a statement of question). To arrive at that, they are preceded by ‘how.’ E.g, how many?, how much?

We should also understand that ‘many’ and ‘much’ are very formal in use. They are mostly found in formal documents. On the other hand, ‘a lot of’ is mostly used in speech. That is to say that it is used only in spoken English.
