You can try Qlife.. Everymonday by 9AM on dot. They put in new closer date.. Monday by 9AM on dot you jump on the web. You can get an appointment in 5days time. You can chose to do upfront and wait for them to request for it. But medical is only valid for 6months.

I thought Covid test is free, did you pay for it?
Not sure if you can use the free covid for travelling purpose,I paid 40k at total diagnostics. You can find out more from people if the free covid test works.

Anyone that travelled recently, please is Covid-19 test still compulsory even with vaccine card?

If yes, how soon should one do the test?
I travelled last month ,fully vaccinated and did covid but they didn't ask for the covid test so I just wasted money. You can do more findings to be sure if measures hasn't change.

Your daughter with a US citizenship does not need a visa to travel to Canada. You can apply for a study permit for her. For the Nigerian citizen, you can apply for either a visitor visa or study permit. She can study with a visitor visa as long as she is not taking a post secondary education.
I appreciate

I think study visas should be for kids from school age (5-6 and above). For the US kid, you don't need to apply for because she doesn't need a visa. It would be wise to state in your SOP that she is accompanying you for certain reasons since you are applying for the other kid.
Some have travelled with their US kids without stating it in SOP, while some stated it. Everyone’s application is unique.

All the best.
Thanks
