Japanese plastic surgeon Katsuya Takasu wants to reward the team after hearing about their financial difficulties.

If it is just based on naming the dog Buhari, then no problem with that. Going as far as inscribing the name on the free range dog shows that Chinakwe is up to something (possibly in retaliation, both taunting themselves). I can't really blame him cos everybody in a society knows the actual way of its societal relationship with neighbours.

I believe the unusual madness didn't just start with calling and inscribing "Buhari" on the dog, both the northerner and Chinakwe seem to be on a taunting game which was not reported in the news, but the dog named Buhari seems to be a fatality on the northerner's emotion, ending the game by reporting to the police.
