Marketing jobs exposes one to so many things ranging from opportunities to insults,limited targets one has to meet and many more bad image from members of the public. Just like how I was asked to market paint for a paints company despite my degrees. It's not too good for ladies even though they attract customers cos it exposes them to assaults all in the name of meeting targets.

Professional courses are quite good but it's just saddening the kind of country we find ourselves as professional qualifications no longer guarantees you a suitable job offer except you're well connected. It only adds up to your career. Although in the long run it's gonna pay way well. I'm also a member of ICAN.

Finally Nigerians don enter am! Imagine the way he speaks. A governor that lacks courtesy in approaching the masses that voted him in. He is a true definition of wickedness. The devil himself is far more merciful than him. And imagine his beautiful looking beast of a child he's got ranting nonsense. Ajimobi, whether you like it or not, you and your so called constituted authorities will pay dearly for this in health and wealth.

Of course I did. What I mean is that he shouldn't take advantage of the boiling situation to pick on churches. There are other topics/issues he can speak on. Everything should not be religion based. I quite understand him but the fact still remains that he knows what he's saying and some people don't seem to get his real point. If not I think he should pick up a copy of the Nigerian tax law for more explanations. Neither a church nor a mosque is profit oriented and he knows that and mosques don't collect tithes and offering, so who's he indirectly referring to. And don't forget that most of these private institutions are funded from income derived from offerings and tithes and they belong to no man except God so why should the government eat what doesn't belong to them.

I see no reason why universities and other business concerns owned by religious organizations shouldn't be taxed. These businesses are not charity organizations.

According to the tax law regulation, all educational institutions are exempted from paying tax including other registered NGO's. It's not only limited to charity organizations. And moreover these private institutions pay other levies to kick off their operations. License is part of it, and what of the scholarships granted to the poor and other social responsibilities performed by them. And moreover it's only going to lead to a waste of these organizations resources on the part of the irresponsible government we have in place. The ones they're collecting, of what use have they effectively put it.

Wait o! Why are all these fanatics kicking against churches nowadays. Can't they mind their business. They have so many unsettled issues in their own circle yet they keep poke nosing into other circles. In fact! I don't even know what to type again sef.

Although these might not really be the reason behind it, but does your CV/resume and cover letter carry the right information when applying for these jobs? Thus, do you tailor it during job application. not forgetting 'experience'. Take some time and go through it to see if there's any changes, correction or a revamp.
The competition is much out there.

But don't give up. Have faith and believe that All Must Be Well.

Studying accounting doesn't make you an accountant. I've learnt from experience: don't force whatever doesn't come easily.

It seems you don't get the point. Being a chartered accountant means someone who is a professionally trained and qualified personnel by a reputable professional institute. I did not say I've got any experience. I have the certificate but the experience is lacking. You probably can be of help to me. Thanks
