EPISODE 1 CONT'D
"Ekaasan sir" i greeted in yoruba as a i collected the ankara bag he was carrying which he responded to with a nod. my father bought the bag when he was to get a cloth material for a relative burial Though the bag was said to be older than me, my mother had made sure she kept the bag neat and ironed grin.
When we got to the door we met my mother who had earlier gone to the market picking beans,"ekule ma" i greeted and she replied "ekaabo".
As soon as we got inside, my mother who was following us spoke up.
"daddy temi" she started " shey e mo wipé ricè ti won?"(do you know that rice has gotten expensive?) "mo lîlo latî rà êwa gón" (i even had to buy beans). When she got no reply as my father when he get news like this he would always talk on lenght that the workers are planning to strike or protest, but when she got no reply she probed him again this time touching his arm " daddy tèmi kilo shèle"??
my father then dropped the BOMBSHELL!!!

Phones / Re: How A Transsion Device Saved My Life... by Tominix(m): 11:26pm On Jul 28, 2020
lainwords098:
I didn’t leave school since the First Nation wide lockdown and closure of schools, I just had the opportunity to do so last week.. Getting home, I decided to look through some of my stuffs because my cousins had been home to visit earlier, so I wanted to be sure my things were still in place, just as I left them.
While doing this, I came across an old Tecno phone I use to use while in 100L and decided to share the long tail testimony here..
There was a time back then when there was a fight between cultists in school, on that faithful day, my friends and I happened to be walking right into the center of a major fight but didn’t know.. suddenly, we started hearing gunshots, everyone took to their heels including me, to cut the long story short, I was hit by a stray bullet and was saved by my phone which happened to be in my front facing pocket. It literarily took the bullet for me.
Although, the makers of the phon
that is a tecno p5

EPISODE 1
I walked through the corridor of our 4 room apartment, the building though not completed was fenced round with brick.
My father had done it within 3 weeks when he got his pension, the government had purposely delayed the money since they probably used it for some private expenditures.
My father worked at the administrative cadre of the civil service when i was fourteen (14), he later got fired when he refused to join in a deal He caught the minister in charge of the ministry he served in.
¤¤¤
That day he came home rather too early wearing A gloomy face, i was at that time playing street football with some of my friends. But when i saw his facial expressions i had to go and meet him despite protests from my team mates to continue playing.

"What do you mean?, FRANK find my son or else" chief badmus barked at the person at the other end of telephone, his tone which clearly infuriated the person who turned out to be detective frank.
The detective was said to have the highest rating In the abuja police academy in unravelling different criminal cases.
He was often reffered to as ghost by friend and foes alike as his file record shows no record of either distant or close relative, even his home number was often answered by an automated voice.
Even when the number was tracked by the "mivs" a secret drug cartel whose members were on the top list of criminals wanted in 8 different countries, they were redirected to the abuja police headquater. In summary detective frank was called "GHOST".
" sir, i respect your position as the minister but i have procedures i can't just barge into an unknown gang hideout in a bid to rescue your son. He might even be dead" detective frank replied and hung up. . . .
