How long have you been trading? how long did it take you to small little success?

Where have you seen successful trader, that took yours to get to where he/she is, teach someone to be successful in 3 months?

Even teaching someone , you think you can teach experience? you think you can teach emotion? you think humans are robot who find it easy to follow simple set of rules?

I have met traders who knew nothing about forex and are making weekly turnover from using one strategy , which traders? all this hear say story, you know better not to believe all this forex gibberish flying all over the place. Or you want to say the ones you teach?

These guys learnt how to trade in two weeks and went on to be one of the most successful stock traders in that decade. Those guys have super trader teach them and be there to mentor and monitor them, even still few of them couldn't follow set of rules given to them. What 2 weeks are you talking about LOL

One more thing, always look at the higher timeframe to see what the market is doing. Example if you're looking for setup on the 4hr chart, look at the daily TF to see what the bias is and trade in line with it.

Try sticking to one setup first until you're confident and profitable with it before adding another to it. For example in your trend plan, try sticking to reversal only until you feel confident enough to add the breakout setup.
Secondly, stick to 4hr and daily charts only and use not more than 2% of your capital on each trade.
Thirdly, use only USD and JPY pairs.
This is the start of a new month, do this for the month of May on a demo account and see the results.
NB: make sure you have an entry(signal) and exit plan before you enter any trade. Each trade you take ensure it has the potential to give you at least 2 or 3 times the amount risked.
Lastly don't let your emotions get in the way of your trade and always stay disciplined.

I've been trading on live account since November,and I've blown more than $400. Tho' I've been on demo for over one year.I'm trading on trendline breakouts/reversal.I think there is something I'm not doing right. Thanks

My setups are always daily chart so I'm still sticking to my initial analysis. But I'm currently waiting for the close of today's GBPCAD daily candle, if it closes as a pinbar, I will enter a 50% sell limit by Monday open.

This was the level I said I want to buy, but I would have preferred a pinbar or a fakey setup as that is my buy/sell signals so I would let this one go and see if it pushes higher and retrace back with my signals.

Depends on your strategy and how good you are.
But if you're a newbie, I would advise you focus on how you can improve your game plan for better results and not focusing on the money aspect.
