I am presently in the East. My journey for this yuletide season started from spending a day at AWKA in a hotel at Unizik axis to having a nice time with my kid brother who lives at Enugu then to my Villa in Orlu.

I visited Owerri and stayed for three days. I was amazed at the development I saw at Owerri and honestly I nearly lost my way. I must say Rochas did a good job.

Coming to my Villa at Okporo Orlu, I must commend Rochas again for the market he constructed and the tarred road that passed through my home.

However, I am not happy seeing abandoned projects especially in Orlu. From hospitals to schools and the stadium. All abandoned!! I dunno how Ihedioha plans to continue what Rochas abandoned.

Something needs to be done about the abandoned projects littered everywhere.

He wasted Orlu mandate on Owerri, wen he got power from Onye-Owerri and will hand power to Onye-Owerri.

That was Orlu chance to start looking like the second City in Imo State, and even attract investment.

What idea have you contributed to this thread? All I see are bickering and insults . Less than 5 people on this thread have made any sense so far.

Just going through this forum, it's easy to see how divided the ethnic groups are internally ,let alone uniting for a cause.
Igbo are not united, Hausa are not united ,Calabarians are not united ,Yoruba are not united, Ijaws are not united ,etc.
The entire Nigeria and Africa is in disarray. In fact,I do not consider the Nigerian situation as marginalization because the Hausa/fulani land is the most impoverished and least developed region anyway . To me ,it's just a quagmire .
All the ethnic groups have to be united internally before even coming together to negotiate diplomatically. If Igbos are united, Yoruba are united,Calabarians are united,Ijaw are united, they can forge a diplomatic front to achieve what each desires. Who are the leaders of igbo ,calabarians ,yoruba,hausa,Ijaw right now ? None.

Wat is needed are Companies, State support and key players that will bring in the artist with talent and content.




Others are writers, producers promoters and managers.

Artist such as Flavour, Phyno, Zoro, Nigga Raw and other prominenet ones should be promoted to Directors in the industry and charged with Artist production. i.e. geeting the artist in and making music.



Others, are charged with networking and organizing live shows and various other ways of marketing and generating traffic which all translate into money.

Utilisation of the Igbo language stopped in the 19th Century wen the British arrived Igboland.

Wen we actually return to further develop our language, lu and ere will all be carefully implemented into the various parts of speech of the igbo language.

Even variants from Rivers and Ika will be utilized to enrich the Igbo language. We may even investigate variants from Igbo speaking Bioko Islanders.

Nothing will be lost.

I believe wat we speak now is not fully Igbo and that is y we add English to it, which is very wrong.

Igbo is a language that needs to be thought in school and learnt as one would learn English, French, Spanish or German.

Igbo should have nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, past-tense, present tense, prepositions, and interjections.

Igbo words can and should be joined together to make sentences that are both grammatically correct and readable. An understanding of the parts of speech is also important for knowing how to correctly punctuate sentences.

We could even write and teach Igbo using Nsibidi if we really desire to develop in that direction.

The shows in the East and Rivers should be completely in Igbo.

Instead, they are carrying pidgin and English and even Yoruba to sing in Igboland.

That is funny becos, Igbo music and movies is a massive multi-billion dollar industry.
