What exactly is wrong with this country E-commerce? I have several complains, but this particular one shook me. I ordered for mini laptop on Konga. I was so happy my package arrive in 4 days. So excited, cut the tape, remove pack cover, shoo! I brought out the charger 1st, oh no, guess what I saw, motorola adapter seating comfortably were the pc suppose to seat. It was hurrible experience for me cos, its my birthday gift.

First...MTN, Glo and Airtel are companies made up of hardworking Nigerians like you and me who are struggling to make a living. Some of them are probably here on Nairaland. So...if you use tweaks and cheats to defraud the phone company.....you are not affecting Airtel MTN or Mike Adenuga. They have heavy investments elsewhere. But if they decide to close down their Nigerian operations due to lack of profits....that will lead to high rates of unemployment....and lots of people would suffer.

Second....high fees are more often than not due to the Nigerian condition. We do not have constant power supply....so many of the facilities that are needed to give you those services are powered by generators...which means high fees. Then there is constant vandalisation, and continued expansion of facilties (due to the fact that we do not have an effective national telecoms company....MTN et al have to build everything from scratch).

Nigerians....please stop using tweaks and cheats. If MTN and Airtel and Glo close shop in Nigeria because of loss of profits.....we would have a lot of unemployed people...and a lot of suffering people. And it would have serious effects on our economy and on our way of life. A word is enough for the wise.

They will not close shop, believe me, do u know how much made in six months in Nigeria? Over 6 Billion naira, the record is out there, go check it or google it. D worst case scenerio that can happen is, they will sell it to another coy, just like econet, mtel, etc. To me, d problems lies wit 1. Greediness (network providing 3gb bis for 1k, while 1k will only get u 200mb on normal subscription) 2. Bad leadership (NCC sanction mtn, airtel, eti & glo billions of naira over call-drop, illegal promos/pool, illegal deduction of airtime, unsolicit sms/msgs, etc, the telcom companies paid d fine, but u as an individual, whose airtime was deducted few days ago or even today 4 dubious reasons, do u get ur fair share of that money or refund? I leave u to answer that), No 3. Inresponsible government (despite our cries, complains, & aggitations, Fed. Govt. seems to be sleeping or pays a deaf ear, yet, they are the one who privatise the telcom. sector, but if u abuse or accuse pdp/Jona. FFK with his big ears will cry like goat) the list are endless, but, I'll stop here 4now.
Bottom line: Our mumu too much. Time to wise up.

2nd, so many Nigerians has been brainwashed to believe that others who do not compose or spell english words correctly are illiterate, well, by the time you have opportunity to go to China, I guess, you may have to reposition your vocabulary. In other word, as far as you understand what the author mean, ignore typo & move on.

3rd, you made mention of it doesn't cost me anything to help, yet, time they say is money.

Lastly, you said, my point wasn't worth opening a thread, yet you comment, I reserve my comment on this.

10Q.
I do not think she can do any business, I only want to satisfy her doubt (may be) for the last time anyway & set her up for recharge card business.

My objectives of opening this thread are 1. Would it be good or would she not be offended if I advice & get her Circular job, i.e. Office Asst., Sales Girl etc? 2. Am I on the right track, haven't been a graduate and work in a well established org. marry such a lady in the name of helping her?

Pls, note that I am taking into consideration that quote that says "Never marry out of pity".

Why not make her self-employed, if you can?

That way she could be less of a burden and an embarrassment to you.

Thank you for your positive contribution.
I had previously taugt of that also, and I had taugt of setting her up for recharge cards business.

The other time she said she knew how to do bid (local jewries), I gave her money to buy the materials & start, within a month, the lucrative business became a tale, there was another day she suggested starting a Computer Business Center, I sent her to a Comp. training school, but, she couldn't cope due to her low IQ, I'm currently putting her through on some applications i.e. Ms Word, CorelDraw, Excel etc after paying for her 6 months training.
All of this are eaten me up.
That's why I am here for matured mind like you to advice.

I cannot imaging some people thinking, I don't love her or I am kettle calling pot black, I do not need to write an Autograph for me to prove a case or seek counsel.

Travel / Re: Unmanned Drone Crashes In Borno Village by topcube(m): 8:41am On Jan 27, 2015
[quote author=igbsam post=30169308]An unmanned drone suspected to be used on the counter-insurgency operation in the Northeast has crashed at Dumge village of Mafa Local Government Area of Borno State this afternoon, KSM News has learnt. Dumge is 30km northeast of Maiduguri.

*** Earlier today CNN had reported that the U.S. Secret Service is investigating a “device,” described as a small drone, found on the grounds of the White House, a White House official said Monday, and Press Secretary Josh Earnest said early indications are that the device does not pose an ongoing threat.

The Secret Service is sweeping the White House grounds on Monday morning looking for anything else that might be on the ground.

@OP
The headline and the post contradict each other. Drone found in Borno Nigeria, but what am reading up there is details of how White House in USA was swept....

You don't love the girl, if not you would have found a way to develop her. You're only enjoying the food she cooks for you and the 'help' she renders, probably doing your laundry and stuffs...
Overall, you sound so immature(no hard feelings).

Pls permit me to take little of your time, as I need your urgent reply before (January) month end.
I formerly reside in Lagos were I've met various types of ladies, & to my own opinion, non of them is wife material.
Seven months ago, July precisely, I meant this not too beautiful to my thirst, but, friendly & lovely lady (25yrs) at my new workplace in Benin. We got intimate & I found out; she's an semi-illeterare, her spoken english is 60%, writing 20% and reading 10%. She relied on people (whom she confide in) to read & write. Now, I didn't mean to assasinate her character but to introduce her, so, you know what am dealing with & offer me good advice pls.
I've just wrote her nagative aspect, let me hint you her positive angles, she knows how to cook good meal, help, etc. In short, she got everything am looking for in a woman.
Now, my question is, she doesn't have Certificate & this kept her @ home for so many months now. Is it right for me to help her secure a circular work i.e. Sales girl or related job?

Either, they donated $21Billion to Jonathan or donated just 54 thousand Naira to Buhari, Buhari will win 2015 presidential election, mark my word.

That's how I told some people sometime ago that, Fayose will win in Ekiti and Aregbesola in Osun State, they didn't believe me. you don't have to be a soothsayer/prophet to tell what Nigerians are asking for. Just look around you, hear what people are saying, gather the momemtum together and you will know GMB is awaiting President of FRN come 2015. Even PEG/GEJ, Okupe, Asari, Akpabio, Oilthieves etc knew, that's why they are afraid & running eta scatter now.

Abeg, make I sing Singing 2Face song ..another year as come, and they want my vote once more, oh, NO oh, oh.
E be like say they want to tel me another story again...

Mind you, I dislike how politics are practice in Nigeria, yet as for me and my entire Christian house, will we vote For General Muhammadu Buhari come Feb. 2014.
