Popular Fuji musician Adewale Ayuba with hits that dates back to the 90s such as “Bonsue Fuji”, “Ijo Fuji”amongst others was at the RCCG City of David February Thanksgiving Service were he testified of his conversion to Christianity. Adewale Ayuba who said he got born again in 2010 also mentioned that God opened up doors of blessings since his conversion to Christianity. He said he had been scared of converting due to the fact that he wondered what people will say, think and do but finally took the leap in 2010. According to him, his wife who alongside with his children had converted long before him was instrumental to his decision to finally take the leap. Not only did Mr. Ayuba testified but he also sang for Jesus calling Him the “owner of his soul”. SelahAfrik is always thrilled to hear news of the saving power of God and we are really excited to share this with SelahAfrikans… congratulations to Adewale Ayuba!! Commonly referred to as Mr Johnson, Adewale Ayuba is the originator of Bonsue Fuji. In early 1990, Ayuba was signed on by Sony Music (Nigerian) to record an album,Bubble. Bubble released in 1991, brought Ayuba into international prominence. He is a multi-award winner with several albums to his credit including “Bubble”, “Mr Johnson Play For Me” amongst others. He is one of those artistes who benefited from the days when foreign record labels ran the Nigerian music market. Facts are emerging from the on going
verification of the Niger State workforce on
how government paid top government
functionaries double salary and the way
salary of junior officials are inflated to
divert government fund. A messenger at
the Ministry of Finance earns N265,000
monthly while a cleaner at General
Hospital Minna earns N375,000 monthly.
It was learnt from sources close to the
verification firm, Sally Tibbot Consultants
that no fewer than three permanent
secretaries in Niger State civil service
earned over N1.3 million monthly.
It was revealed that ordinarily the salary of
a permanent secretary should be between
N400,000 and N500, 000 but the said
permanent secretaries because of their
professional background earn another
salaries as consultants to another
government agency bringing their monthly
earnings to N1.3 million.
The source revealed that “ the irony is
that some of the said permanent
secretaries were members of the
committee set up by the government to
guide the consultants in the ongoing
verification exercise.”
Similarly investigation also revealed that a
messenger earns N265,000 in Ministry of
Finance and a cleaner also earns N375,000
in General Hospital Minna whereas they
are supposed to earn less than N30,000
each monthly.
In the same vein at the Veterinary
Department in the Ministry of Agriculture a
man who took cows for grazing earns
accelerated salary scale of N375,000
while originally his salary is only N23,000
monthly.
It was gathered that when the junior staff
were confronted they denied collecting the
said money rather it was discovered that
their names were being used by top
government officials to divert the said
amount even as they collect their actual
salary at the end of the month.
Consequently a ring of top officials who
ran the scam with the names of the junior
officials were being unveiled by the
consultants and it has started sending
fears to some officials in Ministries,
Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in Niger
State who are now running for cover.
The leader of the consultancy firm (Sally
Tibbot Consultant) conducting the
verification exercise Sa’adatu Bakrin-Ottun
Sally in an interview confirmed that the

Where are those deceitful opportunists? Where are those who promised to end our suffering? Where are those who pledged to do things differently? Where are those who told us they are captains in the ship of change ? Where are those who promised us progress and development? Where are those who swore they will never steal but will work? Where are those who roam the streets sweeping with brooms as symbols of change? Where are those who came to us and stood behind Buhari and told us they would do as Buhari? Where are those who got out votes on Buhari's platter? Where are you who are now betraying us? Where are you who have continued to push us down and deeper the ditch of suffering and under development? Where are you our runaway leaders that have abandoned home and have now chosen a new home far away from home? Where are you who have forgotten your plea for our trust and have now mortgaged us? Wherever you are, listen....... 1. We gave you a mandate, a trust, a responsibility, for only four years and you betrayed it as soon as you got it. 2. You promised to wipe our tears but ended up giving us more pain. 3. You now celebrate with primitive arrogance feeling like kings who will never leave the throne and treat us like slaves who will never be free. 4. Now look at it; 9 months have gone as if it was just a week. Do you know how many months you have left? 5. Now you think you are wise and we are the fools but we see you as losers whose journey has ended even before it started. 6. Let me remind you that some people were there for 16 years but were chased away with ignominy because they betrayed us. Your own is coming and will be more devastating. 7. Enjoy yourselves while the political jamboree lasts. Soon, soon, very soon, the crown will fall from your dirty heads and like lepers, time will chase you away to the camp of ignominy. 8. We have learned our lessons. 3'years not too far. We are waiting with pain but patiently to put you aside. We are now crying and you are laughing but sometime soon, we shall laugh while you cry. He who laughs last , laughs best. rate over%100 please |

My take on bleeding Sheikh Zakzaky...He can
bleed to death...I don't care.
COAS called the Emir to appeal to them to clear
from the road but they refused. He (COAS) then
called the Governor who I learnt spoke to them but
they remained adamant. Haba! What an affront! Are
they above the Emir and the Governor or above the
law? If their so called leader cannot call his
followers to order to behave well, him and his
followers deserve whatever they get from the
military.
The day our military can be ridiculed by any body
or group or ethnic, there will be no Nigeria. Let us
queue behind our present military who are civil
and partisan to fight terrorism and all forms of
gangsterism.
God bless Nigeria. We who are in the midst of it
here knows better than you people in the South
writing fake stories about the action of the military.
Were this to be during OBJ, it would have been a
different strory. Odi and Zaki-Biam will not forget
the military in a hurry for messing with them.
God bless Nigeria |
