There is no truth in that.

Thanks

daparrot:
Do you have a problem with that advice?

Not really but I’ll prefer to do it once

justwise:
Do they tell you why you should do that?

They said it’s faster, that application with dependent gets delayed.

Good evening, guys.

I have a question. I just got my CAS today, and I plan to apply for my visa tomorrow. I’m going for an MRes program, and I already indicated on my CAS that I’ll be going with my spouse as my dependent.

However, I’m getting advice from friends and an agent that I should apply for my visa alone first, and then my dependent should apply later after I get mine.

Is this the best path to take, or should we just apply for both visas at the same time?

Thanks.

Been reading silently and following up with timelines, so I felt to share to encourage others.

Biometrics: July 1st
Approval: July 9th about 3pm
Study gap: 12 years
Program: MSc
No previous visa refusal

Documents submitted:
- Employment letters and payslips for 3 months
- Cover letter (explaining what I do, reason for study and how it would benefit my career, and how I selected the university/country). May not have been required, but I wanted to make my application as clear as possible
- Professional qualification certificates
- University certificate
- CAS email
- IELTS (only because I had it)
- Bank statement

Happy to answer any questions, and I wish the very best of luck to those waiting

Thanks for posting this. So the study gap should be explained in the cover letter. Do I still need to also add a statement of purpose too?

Are d conditions required to get your unconditional offer personal statement and your waec confirmation via request for confirmation option on waec site ? If yes, how long did it take them to issue your unconditional offer after fulfilling the conditions ?

Yes, it is, but I can’t remember how long it took because I did the application since last year.

Good mornings guys I have an unconditional offer from university of Brighton and I want to pay my deposit but I noticed from the cas page I’m suppose to also upload statement of account on the page so as to get cas does that mean I need keep funds for 28 days to get cas and another 28 days to get visa after getting my cas. I’m new here so I don’t know if this question has been answered already but I’m confused about this thanks

Google how to order for GCMS notes for free and follow the link. Or you can check previous Nairaland pages, some already posted the process of getting it.
It takes 3-4 weeks to get the notes. Apply only after you have gotten the notes.

Thanks I ordered for the notes yesterday waiting to get them

MarksmanD:
This is a normal template reply everyone gets when they are denied. Order for GCMS notes to know the actual reason why she was denied by the VO.

My wife got this same reply yesterday? How do you order for GCMS notes ? And ideally when is the right time to reapply

Will eSIM work ?

I'm quitting today. They are not serious about their business. They are using Mauritius ip, I'm having issues accessing my bank app, dstv stream and some of my app doesn't open.

My Netflix is always showing Mauritania too lmao. Do you have an alternative?

delan40:
Bro you nailed it. They prioritise in making sales than improving their epileptic network and all their customer care service can apologize for Africa.

Do you still use them or changed ? I’m using Iworld in Abeokuta too but the speed is just too bad for me
