My agg is 56.6 for economics. I no 2 worry as kwasu don gimme admission but I still dey pray make unilag just gimme 1 course like dat. I go manage am. @all, dont despair ooo cause anytin fit happen. |

All DE candidates should recheck the first and second batch. There are names of DE candidates there on the first batch. Or is it jamb candidate that use matric no Please if you are a DE candidate, kindly download both list and check them for your name. The DE list is located below the list on first batch when you scroll down. Goodluck. |

can u all imagine: i checked on jamb site for my result today and my score was upgraded. i had 230 before but now it is 233. that is additional 3 marks for my economics. the surprise came because i sat for cbt and i thought they are only upgrading the ppt guys. so if you have not checked your result and you sat for cbt, go and check ooo. |

@regulars of this thread, I greet you all. Some more tips: For English: # please the original/new past question for post ume. It is very important to get it. And if you can, come to the tutorial at Unilag. We are treating the past questions on Eng. And G.P. # start practising the past questions so that you can become familiar with the strategy used in setting the questions. Try an know where the questions are focused. For example, last year and last two years, most of the questions are from fill in the gaps, nearest in meaning, opposite in meaning, idioms etc. # once you are familiar with the way they set questions and where the questions come from, start practising with both your jamb and post jamb past question. Try to master all the questions and know how to answer them. You can easily score 20/20 here if you know what you are doing. I scored 72 in English in jamb not because I know all the rules in English but because I was conversant with the jamb past question booklet. (I even wanted to scored 90 if not because of the two poetry books). I'm not trying to brag here. I'm just trying to let you know what is possible. # please by A-Z in Use of English. Highly recommended. This will more than prepare you for the post ume. In fact it can help you declare jihad against post ume Lol "  "# if you prepare well, you can score 50% with your English alone. # the most important thing is pray as hard as you read... # stop looking, start studying... |

Welcome to new members. @old members una welcome. I just wanted to leave a tip here for peeps. For General Paper: # try and study the history of as many country as you can. Then study the geograpy of each country and try as much to know their capital. # study important personalities both in Nigeria and abroad. # once you study important personalities, make sure you know their names and initials correctly. # try to know the history of Unilag, present and past VCs etc. # read the news every day. Nairaland frontpage is an example " " Lol...# try to know important historical events and facts. Questions will surely come from here... # thanks for reading... |

Correction: Unilag was formed in 1962. The motto of Unilag is in deed and in truth. The german head of state is a Chancellor and her name is Angela Berkel. The highest class of a university degree is First Class and the lowest class of a university degree is Third Class. Note: In Unilag's motto, there is a space between in and deed. Take note. Secondly, a pass mark has been scrapped in most if not all unis. If you score a gp of less than 1.50 in two consecutive semesters, yÓu will bÉ sent packing in Unilag. Take note.
