Hi everyone! There's a nice webinar coming up that anyone who just moved to Canada will find useful. It's a financial bootcamp and it's completely free.

As a new immigrant, one of the things that will set you up for success and quick adaptability is a solid financial foundation:
- Understanding how finances work in Canada and
- Knowing what financial mistakes to avoid

That's the whole essence of the Newcomer Financial Bootcamp.
Financial professionals will share insights about how taxes, credit, pension, insurance, and financial advisory work in Canada.

Click https://zoom.us/webinar/register/7516448395724/WN_WfF8NwEHQ_uRc6ljGvXH1A to save your spot now so you don't miss out! Registrations close on Thursday and spots are filling fast.

You can also share with your friends.
Cheers!

Thanks so much for your input. I would try the 1st option you mentioned, as I have tried 2nd option and its not possible.

Hi kalan and everyone who can help. I have a bsc in biochemistry with a 2:1, I would like to apply for Msc, pharmacology or public health. I would like to know when the admission will close? When does a session begin? Tuition fees? How can I prepare for the exams? The duration for full-time msc pharmacology. Thank you so much

Good evening house !

Please does anyone have information regarding Canadian Mennonite University?

I am thinking of applying to the school for MA Peace and Collaborative Development.

The school is quite cheap.
I applied to Canadian Mennonite university for their pre-professional program in nursing. It's quite a young school...its inception is just about twenty years. It's a Christian School (Mennonites). The tuition is less expensive like you said and they have a 20percent discount for international students from developing countries. I am still in Nigeria but from what I have read, watched and heard about the school...its genuine and fast coming up. I asked a brother in Winnipeg and he said he knows the schools but it's normal popular because it's still new sort of. I feel it's a place I will enjoy being in for at least a year till I cross to nursing school. Someone on thisnthread who knows Winnipeg can all help out. That's d summary I can give

Hi everyone, thanks for your immense help on this group. I just want to say that the presumption that passing medicals is an assurance of visa approval is not really true as the medical form sent to applicants says we do medicals at our own risk and completing a medical exam does not guarantee approval... Going by posts on this thread, we've seen many people denied after passing medicals and weeks of waiting. I feel we should just do our part by trusting God's will and purpose and putting in a good application. Speculations won't help during the time of waiting, it's best to just receive grace to rest/trust that we have a father who is involved in the affairs of our lives and be certain we are walking in the right steps. Sorry for your delay @Jayne. Congrats to all the trv successfuls and all the best to all hopefuls including me. I applied 19th May, medical mail June 20, medicals done June 23, medicals passed June 26...let God's will be done.

IyaEjima:
Is this a private or public university? Clarify first.
It is a Christian private university in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Quite small and new, was established in 1999 but I just intend to take my pre nursing classes and transfer to any nursing faculty of my choice, they have a direct link to university of Manitoba for BScNursing, and the tuition is very affordable.

Hi all, I am new here. I am a graduate of biochemistry from the university of lagos, I finished with a CGPA of 4.2/5.0 scale, I want to get a Bsc in nursing, after searching over and over for fast track or second degree nursing degrees in Canada, I found out that I need to take some pre requisite courses in anatomy, physiology, statistics before I can gain admission. Eventually, I gained admission into the pre nursing program of Canadian Mennonite university, Winnipeg. The pre nursing program is for a year after which I will apply into the second degree nursing school of my choice. Iam preparing my papers for visa application but I am bothered about the fact that I am a Bsc graduate going for a pre professional program, how will that look to a V.O? Secondly, in my letter of acceptance or admission letter, the school wrote Bachelor of Arts as my program of study instead of pre nursing, on asking the international admissions coordinator, he said he can't write pre nursing because it's not a degree program and they don't have a nursing faculty but that the Bachelor of Arts 4years covers the pre professional nursing program, he said I should explain that in my SOP but I'm just bothered . Please I need your candid advise
