I'm not an igbo hater as many people assume. But let the truth be told today, igbos only want south south due to economic gains and nothing else. The South south region is the geopolitical zone in Nigeria and if each south south state where to be a country of its own, it would be one of the richest countries in Africa. Besides Lagos, no other state in Nigeria is richer than any south south state. They all have crude oil in commercial quantities and also access to international waters.

This is the main reason why the igbos are trying to cajole them into demonic union. They igbos always say that south south is not a tribe but an evil manipulation of the north. They say the northerners created the south south in order to divide and rule and call the yorubas all manners of names. The question I want to ask the igbos today are;

Are the people of south south complaining?

Have the people asked them to champion their cause in any way?

Why are they crying more than the bereaved over Gej's loss?

The igbos don't mean well for us. They only want our resources and want to marginalise us. Can a non igbo person hold a position in igboland? Can a non igbo person be sold land to in any part of igboland?

Why then does any sane person think that igbos have genuine intention for us?

Let's assume that biafra is achieved today and the south south joins them in biafra, what will be their contribution to the economy of biafra? What will they bring to the table?

The answer is nothing and the only thing they'll bring to the table is their population. Our history would be wiped out in 10 years if we join them cos they'll igbonise all of us.

An average igbo man is greedy, deceitful and can never be trusted.

My candid advice to the people of SS are :
Don't allow iboo rob you.
Don't let them silent/shut you up.
Don't bow to their pressure or intimidation.
Stand for what you belief, your land.
Don't allow them enslave you mentally or emotionally..on or offline

The Problem with Yoruba land is that their people are not interested in the development of their individual states and communuties. All of them run to Lagos and claim origin in Lagos and let their own places rot away.

You may ask why, the sophisticated cocoa aficionados do not want to return back to the glory days of cocoa economy which happened to coincide with the zenith of their civilization . Well if you thought because of free oyel money then you are 50% correct but the actual reason why you won't see any Taju venturing into cocoa plantation any time soon is because cocoa farming was never profitable to the peasant yoruba farmer.

Cocoa farming benefited the Awoist controlled western region but not the poor peasant farmer.

It so happens that the great golden era of Odua in western Nigeria was based on a corrupt exploitative plantation model where the western govt bought cocoa produce through the cocoa produce board from farmers very cheap only to sell it in the int'l markets at an exponential return.

Remember, back then you needed to have a duly approved export and import liscence approved by the govt to sell or bring goods from abroad.

In a nut shell, the glorious era of western Nigeria was based on the handed down exploitative British colonial model.

The Agbekoya Parapo Peasant farmers uprising was a revolt by the poor farmers against the exploitative arrangement of the then old western Nigeria. Awolowo was running a slave plantation economy.

SEVERAL Igbo political associations have criticised President Muhammadu Buhari's recent ministerial appointments claiming that it marginalises the southeast as ministers from the zone were given inconsequential portfolios.

Leaders of bodies like Ohanaeze Ndigbo, and Njiko Igbo, have described the portfolios assigned to Igbo ministers as. disappointing. In the appointments, Geoffrey Onyema from Enugu State was named foreign minister, Ogbonnaya Onu from Ebonyi State was named science and technology minister, Chris Ngige from Anambra State was appointed labour and productivity minister, Anthony Onwuka from Imo State was named minister of state for education and Okechukwu Enelamah from Abia State got the trade, investment & industry portfolio.
According to Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the president of the Ohanaeze Youth Wing, who spoke on behalf of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Ogbonnaya Onu and Chris Ngige deserved more influential ministries. He added that Okechukwu Enelamah should have been appointed minister of finance instead of Kemi Adeosun from Ogun State.
Mazi Isiguzoro said: “We are disappointed that somebody of the calibre of Dr Ogbonnaya Onu was assigned to the science and technology ministry and even Dr Chris Ngige should have been appointed as the health minister instead of labour and productivity. Igbo ministers did not get juicy portfolios, except perhaps Ibe Kachikwu and Rotimi Amaechi, who are our brothers from the south-south.
“We are not happy that we did not get the juicy portfolios, although we are happy that our brothers from the Niger Delta got. Nevertheless, the era of impunity has gone and we expect all the Igbo ministers to perform excellently, so expect them to close ranks and work towards developing Igboland.”
Njiko Igbo president Reverend Okechukwu Obioha, said President Buhari relegated Igbo ministers to the background in his cabinet. He added that the association was not surprised with the development, however.
Reverend Obioha added: “They are adding more salt to the injury and we expected that. We can see that Ndigbo are not wanted in this country and at the moment, the sharing of the national cake is between the north and the southwest.
“What will Ngige be doing as labour and productivity minister when the federal government is not employing anyone, or creating jobs? Even the Foreign Affairs portfolio that was given to an Igbo man is of no consequence because already Buhari has travelled to most of the countries and he will continue to do so."
He added that President Buhari has travelled more in six months more than the immediate past president travelled in six years, so the foreign affairs minister will just be a rubber stamp. According to Reverend Obioha, President Buhari has taken the ministry of petroleum resources for himself, making an Igbo man the minister of state virtually giving Ndigbo nothing and the problem will lead to more agitation for Biafra.
