He stood his ground despite intimidation from chinese officials and backed himself with the intl law.
NL Igbos whom were claiming that he was biafran should apologize and learn to give kudos to whom kudos should be given too. Indeed! |

In as much as I don't see the necessity for this back and forth brouhaha over the issue, I would say it well deserves to give kudos to whom it's due and silence the noisemakers that won't let us breathe on the cyber space. |

You have billionaires and Obiano was begging for 1 Billion Naira to fight Coronavirus.
You have billionaires and your IGR is same with that of war-torn Borno state.
You have billionaires and every December, Igbos in Lagos carry rice to the Igboland as if those living there are dying of starvation.
You have billionaires but "baby, I will take you to Lagos" is being used to toast girls in the East.
You have billionaires but the cars used by policemen for patrol in Lagos is good enough to entice the wife of a local government chairman in Igboland.
You have billionaires but none of them is in the list of 5 richest Nigerians.
You are a big fool if you believe Anambra state is as rich as a local government in Lagos. Juzoooozzzzzzzz See facts accompanied by injury. |

Corrinthians: They will STILL BLAME THE GOVERNMENT if shit hits the fan.
If there was scarcity and black market business is currently lucrative, one perhaps would have understood why they are risking their lives this way.
We expect the very best from government yet fail to give the least of ourselves.
Not a good look. I think it's human nature. The human nature, no matter how rich or well to do it is would always want and desire more especially if it's has to do with essentials stuffs. Human nature loves and embraces freebies-----anytime, anywhere and at any giving opportunity. Mind you, very few can do away with that nature... |

LegendHero: Lol. You are wasting your time on that thing that call himself beautifulmind2. If you teach him how shareholding work from now till 25 years he won’t understand.
I own a non-banking MFI with my brother and we have other investors. When we tried distributing the equity, we held some certain percentage and made sure few % is available to investors to buy.
For example, Let’s say 45% is our owner stake and we make the other percentage biddable for those that are investing and getting equity stake. Companies do this to protect the interest of the owners and make it hard for someone with money to just come and buy the ownership shares of the company.
You will see the Gtbank logo he showed on that image is having a British Flag meaning the UK subsidiary (while the rest of Nigerian banks showed Nigeria flag) and one would but ask him where the other percentage of Shareholders go (I.e. the percentage in that chart is not even up to 50%). The website he is using is called “Market Screener” and they have modalities for how they report all those metrics.
See the British logo for the UK subsidiary below. Phew!!! Finally, somebody who is truly educated and understands how the markets work. Phew! Phew!! Phew!!! |

BeautifulMind2: No doubt but it's not a Yoruba bank as your brother claimed earlier I would have love to engage you more, practically. You see, shares are bought and resell, the major shareholders have a say but he's not the major share holder in fact because there are indeed many shareholders holders of shares that outnumbered his percentage. E.g, mr A bought or own some shares; 45%. Now, Mr. B, C, E, G, D and, etc have shares of 55% combined. The latter have more shares but individually have less says. Now, the fact here is, both MR A and the rest have major share but share in the says of the bank. Now, how do we identify who and who owns or control the bank( well, seller of the" shares), known as an open market? Of course, it is who controls the bank or head it. That's why when you google " who owns gtbank " the name that comes up is CEO or director name. |
