I can't believe this man David Mark mentioned just 2 things he attracted 2 his constituency. The schools he could not name can't be verified. He could not even proudly mention a single road he attracted to his constituency as a senate president. Quite shameful. My dear it was not just Yorubas that Occupied. Every body was worried because of the long standing distrust between the government and the governed. However that town hall meeting on fuel Subsidy was enough education to have convinced nigerians. If we had listened to the voice of wisdom we would not have been in this mess today.

I had my reservation during his days of controversy in the previous administration but reflecting back after re-watching that video, I have renewed my respect for him

At the Fuel Subsidy debate about 3 yrs ago, the former CBN Governor warned Nigeria about the danger of subsidizing the rich instead of the poor in the name of Fuel Subsidy.

He warned that the nation will be unable to pay salaries if by chance crude oil price nosedives which he said will always happen. Even d present dollar naira exchange about 200 naira was precisely stated by him.

The rot in the Subsidy industry was equally exposed by him.

If only we listened to this great man's passionate appeal to save and provide buffer for the rainy day.

May his days be long for showing this rare passionate patriotism.
