A married woman's comment has "set Facebook on fire" but married men promiscuous, reckless and dick-distributing lifestyles hasn't set the world on fire.

Una doh!
All the Paternity fraud cases that we read almost every week, are fellow women the ones impregnating those married women?

Sniper101:

...watching her every move, buddy.

Infact, you shouldn't have confronted her about her chat which you saw; that was a dick move tbh.
Cos now? She'll be more careful in her games. She won't be leaving her phone lying around carelessly anymore. And she surely would start deleting her chats.

All you needed to have done was to stealthily go full time "detective" on her by monitoring her chats with that very guy; without letting her get the hint that you're onto her.

From, "I miss you. I miss you too".
What follows after a while is always...
"When are we going to see?"
"When can I see you again?"
"Make we try see one of these days nah"
"Make we try see each other again nah"
Etcetera etcetera

Seriously dude, you fvcked up
by letting her know you've seen her chats once.

Celebrities / Taraba State Govt Allegedly Detains Journalist by Towncrier247: 2:45pm On Dec 01, 2022
Taraba State Government Accused Of Allegedly Detaining Journalist Unlawfully

The Coalition of Journalists of Conscience, CJC has demanded the immediate release from detention of its member, Oloye Ayodele Samuel- the publisher of Taraba Truth and Facts and CEO of Rock FM 92.3 Jalingo.

The group is calling on the Nigerian Police Force, the Commissioner of Police Taraba State Command and the Taraba State Governor, Arc. Darius Ishaku to kindly honour the court ruling and free Ayodele Samuel.

In a statement, issued and signed on Thursday in Lagos by the group’s General Secretary, Mr Akinwale Kasali said Ayodele Samuel was on Tuesday November 29 illegally remanded at the Taraba State Police Command despite Meeting bail conditions.

The statement said, “Ayodele Samuel was arraigned at a magistrate court in Jalingo, presided by his lordship, Garba S. Garba on a two count charge of defamation and injurious falsehood.

“The charges were filed against him by the Gov. of Taraba State, Darius Dickson Ishaku, through the office of the Attorney General of the state.

“It comes as a reaction from nurtured grievance over a publication on page 5 of the Taraba Truth and Facts Newspaper, dated September 17, 2022 with the title "Taraba for Sale".

“The publication alleges a possible sale of the Taraba state-owned Mambilla Beverages Company and state properties, including the liaison office in Abuja. In which similar publications had appeared on other prominent Nigerian media prior to the publication on Taraba Truth and Facts without rebuttal.”

According to the Statement, Ayodele Samuel had at the court pleaded not guilty to the charges and his counsel applied for bail successfully, which the magistrate had described as ordinary bailable cases.

The bail conditions were ten million naira fee, two sureties resident in Jalingo having landed properties worth five million naira each.

There were about 12 persons willing to surety instantly, including two pastors but only two would have to help fulfill the bail conditions.

Subsequently, the bail conditions were met but it is quite unclear how the publisher has been remanded, but what is certain is the treacherous abuse of power by the state government.

Now, the Magistrate Court Registrar is saying the case file has being transferred to the State High Court, which obviously is a plan to frustrate the bail process and remand the innocent media entrepreneur further at the custody of the Taraba State Police Command long enough to satisfy Governor Ishaku’s thirst for oppression.

“Our investigation revealed that the State High Court intend to foot-drag the hearing of Ayodele’s case and keep him in detention even beyond December.

“We are calling on the Attorney General of the Federation, the Inspector General of Police, Nigerian Police Force, Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ to wade in to forestall this daylight attack on press freedom and of course the right of every Nigerian to live and do business legally anywhere in the Country.

“Prior to the arraignment Ayodele Samuel had honoured two police invitations over separate petitions from the Taraba state government and has conducted himself with regard for law. Thereafter Mr. Ayodele had raised alarms that government agents have tapped his call lines and are tracking his movements.

“Sources have claimed that Governor Ishaku has not been able to reconcile with the reality of someone from a different region of the country having significant impact over the media in the state.

“It has also been heard that on some occasion the Governor spoke of the publisher with disdain, even at the state house of assembly when he ought to be defending the State 2023 budget.

“Accusing and maltreating someone who should have been recognised and honoured as a pacesetter for establishing the first private radio station amidst his numerous achievements in Taraba state is shameful and we are calling on the government and its agents have a rethink and obey the court verdict.

Before this incident, she has been a major support to her children through her small catering business. But Tope's life is hanging right now, and all the doctor is requesting is N5million naira to save her. She is based in Oyingbo, Lagos state. They have spent everything they had in initially treating what they thought was a different illness on her breast, before doctors eventually concluded that what she is battling with a breast cancer called INVASIVE CARCINOMA

How do you know you will get old?

Tomorrow is not assured bro...

Your wife might die and leave you...

Now you get it...

That's not a wise answer, imagine someone saying don't invest for your future because of the possibility that you might not grow old.

Bro whatever you do, do not, I repeat, do not get married! You will always regret it. I love my late dad, he was the best dad anyone could ask for but if I see him in the afterlife, I will ask him why he never told me the truth about marriage and advise me no to get married.

Love someone (with sense), have children, live together but never ever sign your life away. Finally do not let any woman you are with know everything about you.

The first thing that deteriorates after marriage is your sex life. I think its a psychological thing. Maybe the subconscious feeling that you've both got each other for 'life' messes with the brain.

I was married for 14 years. My ex-wife started a relationship with a work colleague and a month after using the police to kick me out of my house, the dude left his own family and moved into my house.

I was charged with several offences for an altercation I had with the guy when I caught him in my house. My ex-wife (we were still married at the time) the mother of my children came to the crown court to testify against me on his behalf. The jury saw through their lies and determination to send me to prison and acquited me on all charges (over 5)

Its been a few years but I still shudder at the thought that I believed so much in this woman and chose her over my own siblings.

Attached is msg I got from her this morning. This is despite her taking the house which I put
down 66% of the deposit. This woman earns almost double what I earn and I pay her over a quarter of my net earnings for child maintenance.

You'll probably still go ahead and get married but its almost guaranteed that one day in the future you will look back and wish you heeded the advice of many people who told you not to

Can you answer this, what happens when you grow old and you don't have a family to look after you? Just an honest question ⁉️

Celebrities / Odion Steve: "Comic Actors In Nigeria Are Treated As Inferiors" by Towncrier247: 8:07pm On May 31, 2019
Talented fast-rising Nollywood comic actor, Inegbenebor Odion Steve aka "Alwayzhappi4u" has decried the lack of respect for comic acting in the industry.

In an interview with entertainment reporters over the weekend, "alwayzhappi4u" who has featured as a comic actor in movies like "Once Upon A Goal", "Benevolence" , "Drives" etc expresses dissapointed that many of his colleagues and Nigerians alike reason that the role of a comic actor in a movie is not important and so are comic actors.

"It's sad really how some people reason in this parts of the world, in Hollywood every type of actor is giving due respect and serious payment because no form of acting is easy, but in Nollywood you still find people who treat you or look at you like a lesser being because you play a comic role. Comedy is a multi-million billion Naira industry and the treatment in Nollywood is one of the reasons some younger acts prefer to go into the stand up comedy style," the comic actor said.

He continues; "one ofbthe role of a comic actor is to bring comic relief to a script and it takes a lot to make people relax and laugh. Unlike most other roles, you cant even just make people laugh by going by a script, you have to search deep withon and add some originality and ingenuity to the craft. But you will hear people say, 'he just a comic actor'. The most annoying one is some so called big actors feeling too important because they are acting 'serious' roles. These are some challenges but some of us who have a passion for our job can never be discouraged."

"Alwayzhappi4u" is also known for his viral comedy skits such as "Man Na Man, "How To Make Money Without Stress", "Armed Neighbour", and more.

Celebrities / Weflo: "As An Upcoming Artiste, You Either Have A Sponsor Or You Are A Yahoo" by Towncrier247: 9:43pm On Aug 10, 2018
Fast-rising singer, Weflo has stated that no youth can make it in the Nigerian music industry with their own money. Asked why yahoo-yahoo is believed to be rampant among many upcoming artistes, the UNILAG graduate explained that if you are not getting someone to finance you but you have been able to shoot so many high quality videos, then you are either into fraud or other illicit means of raising money.

While speaking in an interview with reporters at an event in Lagos about his newly released video, "Ise" shot by top Director Paul Gambit, Weflo lamented that the Nigerian environment is not conducive for upcoming talents because the cost of establishing your musical talent is almost like the cost of going into an oil and gas business.

"The Nigerian music industry is not for a poor person, and this is not to discourage any upcoming artiste from coming into the industry, but the truth is that if you as an upcoming artiste doesn't have anyone backing you financially, you will be depending on only fate to even get attention. Studio fees alone will not allow you to beable to express all your talent. It will restrict you from doing as many songs as you want. Your hit song is probably among the ones you haven't yet have money to record. When time comes to promote the audio, the media will cut your neck and you may eventually not beable to promote the song.

"Don't even let me start with video directors. Sometimes to get a standard video shoot at 1millin Naira, you have to beg directors. Don't also talk about DJs, radio stations and Alaba mix and so on.This is why for every 20 successful artistes making waves, there are probably more than 200 thousand others looking up to God for studio fees. That is why a lot of artistes are into Yahoo and all sorts of means to raise money. It's not in my place to judge anyone, because we are all responsible for our actions at the end of the day. So if you find an upcoming artistes who is shooting all types of internationally standard videos and spends so much promoting them, then money comes from either one of the aforementioned means; not to deny that there are occasional exceptions where the song just go viral without any major effort. In my case though, i have been lucky to have the full support of my parents financially and in all ramifications." Weflo stated.

Explaining further, Weflo says "You might want to ask, can't an artiste get a part time job and save up for his music career? The truth is, like i said earlier, the type of capital you need to succeed in the music business is not the type you use starting a small scale business. You need millions to run it. If you start small, fine!; but 9 out of 10 times you will not break through until you find a sponsor. Maybe if you earn a 7-figure salary, but how many youths in Nigeria earn a 7-figure salary? The few that do are most likely not into music."

Weflo however advised that the best way forward is for banks, government and corporate bodies to support the industry.

"We are in an era where music videos reach 100million views on Youtube, I dream of an industry where a brand for instance can take up the bill of an artiste's musical video shoot in exchange for a feature of their product or service in the video. Banks should also beable to give loans to artistes and government needs to fund entertainment same way they fund sports", he advised.
