Those folks are likely using lossless scaling/frame gen to get those fps. I use it too and it’s good if you can deal with a bit latency lag.

500k isn’t bad but have you looked into maybe getting a rig ally z1 extreme? You should like find it at the same price and just put steam os on it.

It’s good but it’s age is kinda showing since it has difficulties running AAA games from 2023 or so upwards but if you like ps1 to ps4/xbox one gen games, it’s a great little machine. Emulation is also very good if you’re into that but yeah just know that you won’t be running the latest graphically impressive ps5 games on it at reasonable fps but if you’re okay with that, the steam deck is a great device.

Although I watched YouTube videos of people tweaking it to run recent games like black myth wukong with up to 30-40 fps. That's okay for me as I don't really see the difference above anything above 30 fps.
It's sold online for 800k plus, but I have seen deals of used ones as low ad 500k. My target is to safe 500k for it and find a good deal.
