Instead of saying market opens at 10 am next trading day

Why not make next_trading_day a variable and set a more intuitive value for it.

E.g

next_trading_day = Date.Today.Friday ? Date.Today + 3.days : Date.Today + 1.days

If Date.Today.Saturday
next_trading_day += 1.days

You can certainly adapt to your Language's syntax.

Thanks for sharing, love it! The logic you mentioned doesn’t cover public holidays, and that’s why I’m using the current setup that takes those days into account too. But I’m open to hearing better or easier ways to handle it.

The new look of this our Stockbubbles platform is not good at all. Please, revert back to the immediate previous interface that shows all stocks in the market and not this one that only shows gainers and losers.

Please if you want to replace them, send them to the very end of the columns. Also, if the website is built on Excel format, freeze beside the column of companies names and the headings of the columns, so that even when you scroll to the side, they do not disappear.

I meant removing it completely. Or send them to the end column. The platform is now too busy. Also send the bids and offers column to the end column. Please.

For now, we’ve temporarily removed the Market Cap and Bid/Offer Quantity columns to avoid displaying inaccurate or delayed figures during live trading.

They’ll be restored once NGX confirms a reliable real-time feed. ✅

@essentialone1 Thanks for pointing this out. The market cap column currently only updates after trading hours that’s how NGX designed it for now...
I’ve raised the issue with their team, and they’re in talks with their devs to see if real-time updates can be enabled during trading. Fingers crossed they sort it soon… NGX dey fall my hand sometimes.

If it is from the NGX data or website, then it should be the consolidated data across all broker platforms for a particular stocks

Thanks for the feedback boss! I've been monitoring and noticed some variations across platforms, possibly due to a lag or syncing issue. Regardless, StockBubbles now reflects this data in real time and pulls directly from the NGX (official source)
