The earnings growth and stronger balance sheet make this one interesting. However, investors should monitor the sustainability of investment income and watch for evidence of renewed buying pressure.

🥈 HONEYWELL FLOUR MILLS (HONYFLOUR)

🔥 Half-Year 2027 Highlights:

- Revenue: ₦233.79 billion, up 41%.
- Profit Before Tax: ₦31.40 billion, up 1,115%.
- Profit After Tax: ₦22.61 billion, against ₦1.62 billion previously.
- Operating profit: ₦28.15 billion.
- Gross profit: ₦33.66 billion.

The earnings recovery is impressive, with significant improvement in operating performance. Honeywell also finished Friday, October 30, as one of the NGX's top gainers, advancing 10% to ₦22.55.

Quite a different finish from what we were seeing in the morning

Early selling pressure was real, but buyers showed up in some of the names that looked most vulnerable. FTGINSURE bounced from yesterday's -9.76% drop to close at ₦2.00 (+8.11%), while GUINEAINS recovered from a fresh 52-week low to finish at ₦0.77 (+4.05%).


Selling remained concentrated in INTENEGINS (₦3.87, -10.00%), while CORNERST (₦4.90) still ended the session at a new 52-week low.
