Weda u like it or not, we need these reforms, it's either we do it now or we do it in the future, but we will still come to a cross road where the govt will push these reforms down our throats even if Tinubu fail. BABAawoo47: This is what they told you? Na wey wetin dem tell the idiots for their WhatsApp group. In years to come, agbadorians like this one you quoted, will have to be studied in school, viz-a-viz,how their brains work, and how to make their kind not to be part of humanity. I don’t understand how people can think like this while wallowing in poverty caused by the same people they are defending. |

nairalanda1: SO saying that power should be sold at a profit which can be used to expand generation, expand transmission and so forth means I am agabdo.?
A view I have held since 2013, and that means I am agbado?
If I call you a dull person, you would cry.
Thanks for the abuse Can anyone be duller than a typical agbadorian ? I don’t think so. That’s why you go around posting long rubbish here anytime you hear subsidy. Werey. |

vanbonattel: I am blaming this administration
You are exonorating them
I accused you of supporting the administration
You denied
You accused me of supporting my own candidate
I told you why
You continued to deny supporting this administration
And suggesting increasing the tariff
IS IT YOU WHO WILL IMPLIMENT THE SUGGESTION YOU ARE GIVING?
Because my point all along is that a bad leader will never find any good solutions.
Where exactly are you standing so we don't continue to run around in circles? That guy is very deceitful. He is a core agbadorian . Don’t mind him. You can always know them by the nonsense they post. They have a trade mark. |

Kobojunkie: There are no fuel subsidies in Europe and America like what you have in Nigeria. However, there are many safety nets in place in America and in Europe, some of the same safety nets suggested by the World Bank for Nigeria to implement. I have myself been a beneficiary of many of these safety net programs and can tell you that it is nothing like the fuel subsidy program in Nigeria today.
More importantly, the Nigerian Government has yet to implement any of the reforms suggested by the World Bank in this. was it only fuel subsidy that was removed in Nigeria? The safety net you have been enjoying, are they not some form of subsidy? |

DeLaRue: Hmm...
I was thinking 5 - 7 years.
The critical thing is going to be the President that succeeds Mr Tinubu.
If that President doesn't keep up with these reforms or reverses them, then all the benefits of the reforms we lost and the consequences could be worse than we are seeing now. abeg, which dirty reform Una Dey talk about? Una Dey mad? |
