NAPTIP , The National Agency for the prohibition of trafficking in persons, Herald Activities to Marks its 15th Anniversary and the 2018 world day against Human Trafficking, With the Theme ; HUMAN TRAFFICKING; BOUNDARIES OF UNCERTAINTY.




Human trafficking is a global problem. However, a large portion of victims comes from the African countries, particularly Nigeria. Nigeria is both the source and the destination for human trafficking.
Women and children become the victims of child trafficking more often than men. They are used for the purposes of slavery, exploitation and servitude.






During the press conference held at the Headquarters of the NAPTIP Abuja, Nigeria. On the 30th of July ,2018.

Amnesty was suggested as a possible measure of resolving the problems,
The Director General ,Dame Julie Okah- Donli responded saying that annually Human traffickers make a profit of over a 150 million dollars.

She explained further that this crime has little risk but huge profit and the syndicates are not even willing to admit that they are traffickers as well.

Therefore Amnesty is not a resolution in this case, Traffickers are inhuman and barbaric, when caught the ultimate punishment should be persecution.

She continued in her statement. That since the inception of the Agency there has been as been a total number of 359 convictions , 49 since she Assumed office.

Standard/Corporate Drivers.
Duties and Responsibilities
1.The Driver reports to the Logistics Officer.
2.Adhere to Netsosville Nig.Ltd policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines
3.Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
4.Promote and share ideas for improvement
5.Perform according to the work and development plan
6.Drive Netsosville Nig Ltd vehicles to pick or drop third party
employees at their designated duty areas within and sometimes outside
Lagos.
7.Deliver Important documents to required destinations as directed.
8.Ensure that all deliveries have been signed and delivered to the
correct recipient
9.Keep Netsosville vehicles clean and maintained at all times
10.Perform preventive and regular maintenance on Netsosville's vehicles
11.Manage and update the vehicle log sheet
12.Convey third party (companies/Organisation) staffs on assignments
in and out of their office to their desired destinations
13.Pick up and drop off passengers to their destinations( as standard driver)
14.Cleaning and maintenance of all Netsosville's vehicles
15.Chart the best route possible in order to save time
16.Update the office on the status of the vehicle particulars for
timely registrations and renewals.
Qualifications
1. 1-3 years Driving experience in Lagos
2.Minimum of WAEC/SSCE
3.Additional Educational qualification preferable
4.Fluency in Spoken/Written English or Yoruba
5.Driving school certificate
6.Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
7.Valid Driver’s License
8.Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
9.Must be able to work under pressure 10.Basic knowledge of
automobiles and ability to make minor repairs and perform preventive
maintenance.

11.Be willing to take on extra responsibilities
in order to achieve the goals/objectives set by the organisation.

12.Adhere to lagos State security
procedures and other policies.
13.Ensure that passengers are kept
as secure as possible report any suspicious threats or security
situations to the Administrative Officer

Personal Qualification
1.Relevant experience in driving in Lagos and knowledge of the
best/alternative routes in Lagos.
2.Excellent inter personal and communication skills
3.Ability to work under pressure, independently and with limited supervision.
4.Highest standards of ethics and integrity
5.Organised and a good planner and possess significant understanding
of complex emergencies
6.Ability to work in insecure environments
7.Communicating with impact and respect
