Please o, an order via Singapore post has been on despatched to overseas since on the 11th till now, someone said its possible I won't get it again. Please what's the way forward?

If you buy the Global rom ( Chinese version with Global rom installed), your bootloader will come unlocked. Trying to lock the bootloader is where you might have issues of bricking.

I know that, I asked because of the lanre316 question u answered

I just got back from the post office collected two RN5 phones and paid only 1k for both, Oshodi PO, Lagos... Handling charges only no customs charges. So happy. They were from HK Goldway. I thank God

Am talking from experience, like 70% of the people that I know that were charged is from that store. As it is, na God hand e dey. Whether ET, fantacy or goldway na to get open mind that anything can happen. Nothing is guaranteed.

Customs just charged #7,200 for the redmi 5 plus I ordered for a friend. Phone we ordered for 48k . Is there anyway we can tackle them at the post office? That amount is just outrageous

One of my items that were charged last week didn't show custom on tracking, but see the wrap on the package.

I was charged 3800 customs duty.

that's serious o, are you sure that charge isn't from nipost rather than customs?

With this new custom issues now, someone has to budget 6-10K extra.

I think it's Global version is a default thing for Jumia Global vendors tho that 5 plus is already in naija.

Just checked. Many positive reviews but no one thought to mention the version lol

The Redmi Note 6 Pro i bought on Jumia was Global version and the description didn't even state it.

I was talking to grinface98 who bought Redmi 5 Plus.

Pretty sure he spent more than 53K of which shipping on Jumia is free and they deliver to door for that model.

Every buyer is spoilt for choice now.

The vendors on Jumia can reduce and increase prices at any time.

Some of their prices are better and some and not.

that's the 3gb variant and I'm not sure it's global version, a friend got 5+ black 4/64gb global rom at 53k during their Halloween promo stuff (shipping included)
