I grew up in Aba and migrated to Lagos few years ago due to Job postings. The technological inclinations of the people over there is simply amazing.
When T.A Orji became governor of Abia, he banned okada in the state, in less than 2 weeks, Nigerian made tricycles started springing up all over Aba. The modified motorcycles to tricycles that plied the roads of Aba. Some of them looked better than the imported 'keke' And these were done by road side mechanics who had very little 'education'.

There is no hand made stuff anywhere in the world you cannot find the copy in Aba. What they need is a favourable atmosphere and you will have even a better japan or china right here.
